Wooo, this was a rollercoaster. Ah Jin, Ah Jin. The psycho that you are and the men that made you fall. My Kim…
I’ve been seeing a lot of comments like this. Yes, I understand it’s another perspective, but honestly, it feels like a weak one. Have you tried looking at it from a different angle? What kind of person is the CEO husband? He knew almost everything, and his plans were always one step ahead of both Ahjin and Jaeoh. He’s a powerful chaebol, how could Junseo and Ahjin possibly take him down that easily? With the weak evidence Jaeoh provided? That’s just not realistic.
Did he really believe that sacrificing himself like that would save Ahjin and allow her to live happily ever after? He knew how dangerous the CEO was, yet he chose to die and leave her behind, that was incredibly reckless.
The CEO isn’t someone who can be brought down so easily, it's already pretty clear of how the CEO did all those dirty things to Ahjin since the beginning.. Junseo understood that better than anyone.. He knew they couldn't truly defeat him, which is why he took Ahjin out of that hellhole. That was far better than leaving her there to die alone in that house. People believing that letting her continue living under the CEO’s control would somehow lead to her happiness or help her achieve her goal is just as shallow. With the mere evidences.. how long can she hold onto that evidence? She is nothing just a mere actress, not some powerful business woman capable in fighting against him.
Just finished episode 8 and I don’t understand what did she gain from ending relationship with him so cruelly,…
coz he asked for marriage and planned for retirement, n of coz a sociopath like her wouldn't want to say yes to that coz her goal as a top actress had not been achieved yet.. she was still a rookie actress when she was dating him.. even if with the grandma still alive, by the time he asked for marriage, she would also end things with him..
not that i defend her, i just trying to explain why she did that.. and she was indeed cruel...
2 more episodes to go.. and i think it'll be happy ending.. coz i thought grandma really got dementia & would really leave them behind.. but turned out it was not.. and she'll be healthy.. so chanran will be okay too.. just a little breakup..for a little while and they'll make it through.. come on.. sungkyung's past drama CIL is way more gloomy than this and they still got happy ending.. so i'm sure this one will too.. for every couples..
In the first episode Ji Uk says that he is doing a secret thing that nobody knows about, I kinda assumed that…
yea its kinda suck that by last 2 eps, his back story isn't revealed much.. i just wished to see how is his relationship with the mom and her new family when he visited canada... also what is his job after going back to korea? i don't wanna see him only depend on haeyoung coz he'll be living in her house and doing nothing? jiwook is a smart and hard working guy.. and i actually wish that he could propose her once again by visiting Busan together...
With this acting level ,how can one get projects with top actors ? There are many talented actresses in the industry…
i feel you but rather than we complain in the platform that the industry people won't ever see... why don't we email or come to your fave's agency (if you're in korea) so that they can take good care of your fave? and find better opportunities for your fave? it's their job to make their artist marketable.. and wanted by the industry.
coz if we keep whining about this here or on social medias.. nothing will change unless the fans actively push the agency to work harder to provide for their talented actor and actress job..
Writers tried so hard to make the FL as the stand alone main character, because Junseo story had so much layers…
you are right about this.. that's what i felt when watching dear x.. i know that this drama centered around the FL.. but then there are many other female centric dramas but still made the ML or other important character stood out too coz they also have their own story to be told to make the whole drama more cohesive coz their stories should be intertwined.. in this case, Junseo is the ML and he was the cause of her downfall and i thought his story was not properly told from his perspective, it lacked depth.

wish there'll be season 2 in the future.
