I really wanted to see Hwang Min Hyun do an action drama after seeing his fight sequence (reenacting a rumor) in My Lovely Liar. I'm so happy people have commended his work on this project.

I’m hopeful there will be another season since the Webtoon also had multiple seasons. I’m not ready for it to be over 😩

The movie features the same characters but they’re in a parallel universe/timeline so some things are different and most importantly this story is from Zhang Wansens POV. The end does offer a happy ending continued from the final episode.

If you remember that were dealing with paralell universes then I don't think you need to remember the whole show to watch the movie.

I didn't either so I was thrilled when I saw it playing locally. I almost thought it was a scam, lol.

I personally think that Wansen didn't actually die in the show's original timeline. They never shows him actually dead or have anyone confirm he's dead. The only person that says he's dead is Brother Lei (b/c he murdered him). So maybe he just had that terrible accident and then his family took him away or he had amnesia or was in a coma or something until we "see" him holding the umbrella for Lin Bexing at the end. Because they made it very clear that her actions in the other universes don't effect them in her original timeline so she can't have really "saved" him. IDK, fun to speculate like you said.

I stayed through the whole thing and there was only the post credit scene after the initial credits (where they are jumping around the Moon). Nothing after that.

You don’t have to watch the show before the movie. The ending was good but probably more satisfying for those that have seen the show. Hope that helps! 😊
