It was 8.6, but people seem to downgrade it. It went from 8.4 to 8.6 in a little more than a day when the last episode aired.

Me, too. Up to ep23 it was ok and then I fast forwarded till the last episode. The 2nd villain was so unconvincing

I couldn't watch the drama after ep5 but I watched the crazy emperor arc in YouTube and gosh, what a pair!! I'd have loved to watch a whole drama with them, his acting is so mesmering and the princess suits his aura so well! Now I get what everyone's talking about! I'm digging up more of his dramas to watch

Ep27. When did he give her the millet? If he hadn't destroyed it, why didn't he give it to her sooner? Edit: Nevermind, he used the one inside of him and once again there's a misunderstanding bc he chose not to tell her... These leads that prefer to die and suffer for their love instead of communicating it and clearing doubts are such an overused trope. Now, let's move on to the next misunderstanding and new villain... Aiya...

Ep23, I find the reason not to tell him the truth very flimsy."Betray his shifu"? If she consumes it it will never appear in the world ever again. Duh!The scriptwriters could have done better.

Ep20 and I hope Xiao dies irredeemably. No saving the princess death to atone. There was some hope for him but not anymore

Ep18. Did he realise she is Ming Xian? Am I reading correctly into their conversation at rhe beginning of the ep?

I started watching but by the 5th episode I lost interest. I couldn't feel their chemistry. I hope to find the episodes where the princess gets together with that psycho emperor, though. Their story looks lit. Now I'm hooked into Love in they clouds. I reached ep11 without any complaints so I'll stick to it

Ep11 and why are they flirting so much but no action?? Ugh!! Don't tell me, it's already really hard trying to watch without any spoilers ruining the fun. I just wanted to vent
