I haven't watched ep 20-21 but judging by the comments sth takes place outside the Fu-Zhuang family. All I can say is trust the process. So far the writers haven't wasted a millisecond of screen time. I'm sure the Deng arc will serve its purpose.

The brother died the way he lived: Accidentally. I like the father's hissy voice, it suits his serpent character very much.

The only cons I see so far are the mismatched takes:One moment the ML had his arm around his daughter, the he clasps her hand and then next shot, around her shoulders once again. He holds the umbrella in his fist, then balancing his thumb on the pole, then again it's in his fist... People obsessed with details are having a hard time here

Oh my, she keeps trying to kill him. I love it! I wonder when will they get on each other throat.... ;)

Ep19 his fist clenching while looking cold... Wow!

I hope I get my catharsis in the traditional ancient greek way, i.e the father pays and in accordance to his sins

Ep 20 preview and I hoped they had stumbled on indecent drawings instead of a novel

Because I've only seen him in Legend of Shen Li and so far in The Glory he's quite reserved. He gets some bursts of emotion at times(like when his wife died) and I'm curious to see how it will play out

I think in all the adopted son drama the FL forgot that it was her father who kept her mother a cripple, so whether it's FY part of the gang too, or not, can be dealt later. We're talking about her mother's future and she needs a divorce

So walking in the snow is a theme. The FL, then the ML trying to feel how it felt for her, the mother, followed in the same steps by the FL. I'll never finish ep 17 if it's so tightly packed

I didn't expect much from the ML actor but the canning scene was one of the most realistic I've seen in a cdrama

Beginning of ep17 and FuYunxi is def capable of expressing emotions.
