But it's hard for you to understand that you choose to be hateful towards the FL. That's what I'm trying to tell you. You choose to differentiate, even though technically speaking cheating is cheating no matter the form. For me, none of the leads cheated. But if you choose to consider the FL as a cheater, then be as hateful to the ML for cheating and being ambiguous. Don't tell me that hiding your reasons for your actions isn't ambiguous. You made a huge deal when the 2FL did it. As I've already said, my argument with you is that you choose to hate the FL for actions that the ML was justified for, and for less reasons. Didn't ZM agree to marry the 2FL to protect her without even explaining to Pearl? Isn't that cheating? Or is he excused bc he is the ML? He showed to care for the well being of the 2FL so convincingly that wasn't Pearl a pure innocent and so besotted she would have definitely misunderstood.( And partly she did). She had every right to kill her bc she was attacked but he stopped her, evem trapped her in an array. The bow was never completed and the matter in the novel was never addressed bc even he knew that they weren't married. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but you need 3 bows and she was confined by the invisible rope that forced her to bow. I don't mislead people. People have eyes and can judge themselves. Maybe you should follow your own advice.

Exactly. Had she discarded her friendship with NXY would have made her a double faced liar. She knew that ZM has a heart of gold and wants to awaken his emotions for all of the 6 months she's been with him in the span of 10000 years (as an emperor and XXC) and yet some expect her to disregard her millenia spanning interactions with the 2ML bc she fell in love- even though his actions in the end were explained.

I agree. This is the second cdrama I'm rewatching after LBFAD -which I must have already rewatched 10 times by now- and it's bc it truly gives the heroine tangible feelings. She'd die for the hero (and did so), she'd die protecting his beliefs (and did so) and at the same time she honours the 10000 year old comradeship with NXY (who she obviously loves as a friend -heck, they were just the two of them for 10000y!) she forgives her "sister" and she makes peace with her "father"SQ, whom she loves (though he was tempted to use her to revive his lover). She has spunk and she is 3dimensional and so are the 2 main male leads.

The feelings are definitely not mutual at the beginning. He pushes her off the bed, asks her not to touch him, she tries kissing him, I didn't see him consenting.

It's not the same as watching though. And a lot goes down in every ep that ties up the plot

I didn't see her spending quality time with him and I definitely remember her telling him that her heart is only for XXC. Also she never once touched him, she even gave him the amulet back. I truly don't know which scenes you're referring to

We can say the same for the FL. She was so obsessed with the ML that she manhandled him and didn't take no for an answer, especially in the beginning. Didn't that move the plot forward? Isn't she toxic then just like the 2ML?

It ties with the theme that people make their own destiny and they are not bound to heavenly rules. I found it fitting considering he worked his whole life to defeat HT's plan of big bang
