At first, I liked the fact that he was not her mister bc that meant she'd fall in love with him and not a childhood memory. Now, I like his realisation that it was always him, and I just love how it just doesn't matter anymore bc he will be the emperor from now on

You should write a review of the ep when you grade it to be saved. Otherwise it doesn't show

It's because of bots low grading it. Just like they do here. What we should do is give each episode a grade in the Episode Guide. What I've noticed through is that it doesn't colour the right amount of stars in the review. I've reviewed an ep for 10, when I check the edit it's all stars coloured, but it shows only four when the review appears on the page

Edit. Thank you. Maybe douban rating should be corrected on the first post. Still though the drama comes second in rating after flourished peony(popular dramas that are now airing) which is great, considering it's not a big name drama

No one is carrying the drama for sure. It's how the actors' talents complement each other that makes this drama exceptional IMO. The ML's stern-larger than life demeanor and the FL's playful sensuality, the 2ML's fragile strength-barely tethered to sanity and SQ's misplaced pain, QM's walk to maturity and the Jade Pavilion master's quiet support and kindness. The only one I'm annoyed at is QM's aunt, she really messed everything up,and her father of course. Oh, what happened to the chained ex shifu?

I think the FL counters her youthful face with her seductive personality. Otherwise it would have been really weird if she played the sweet innocent damsel in distress.
