Ep.29. I don't like HRZ but even so, he doesn't deserve to come second palce. Also, she treats him as a servant not an equal and he's more than happy to comply. He's a sanctified HQ: HQ did all things evil to be with ZL and HRZ is doing all servitude things to be with HQ.
Ep28. Probably the most boring episode of all. I really don't care about the cameos, nor HRZ's death wish. I presume they wanted to show how a whole year went by but, sheesh, what a damper. Even Yifei's crazy rant and throwing out came one episode(and one year) too late.
Ep27. Does ZXW know she's alive? Is he testing HRZ abilities to protect her and that's why once a month he'll allow him the chance to beat his guards in exchange of revealing her whereabouts?Eldest princess is definitely efficient. She saw it(the opportunity), she liked it, she wanted it and she got it. Drama has got quite annoying by now. Only 3 episodes left and judging from the previews she will either wake up in the last episode or never at all.(If it's a dream, I don't know what I'm watching anymore) I'll come back to it when the last episode airs.
If he let her go the Meng family would have her killed. If he told her that she'd still insist it's none of his…
Same goes to HRZ. He never asked for her help and yet here she is making decisions for him. Furthermore ZXW is looking out for the interests of his family, just like HQ is looking out for the interests of her family. Only he hasn't got the freedom to overlook crimes when they come to his attention. HQ tried covering up her father's crime and her brother's lasciviousness. Good for her and very filial but she can't act like she's the victim here. She should insist on taking the blame and ZXW should stop trying to protect her. She is partly responsible for the fall of Yao's family. As fas as intentions are concerned I don't see any df btw them. ZXW tries to protect her by having her close, HQ tries to protect HRZ by having him as far away as possible.
If he let her go the Meng family would have her killed. If he told her that she'd still insist it's none of his…
No matter the reasons the result is the same: Someone else decides for you. Besides that, why should ZXW hide her family's crimes? Why should he punish only the Mengs? He should be a just Lord and everyone must pay their dues. He's getting out of his way to help her family suffer the least consequences and she didn't trust him to do so. We have a saying that literally translates into "I want a man and I want him now". We know he had arranged for the Mengs to lose their position and yet she wanted everything done her way and effective immediately.
I've already written as much as an answer to a post further down but I need to vent off more. HQ is quite hypocritical. She treats ZXW as a tyrant who keeps her confined for her own good and yet she gets HRZ beaten up for his own good, to prevent him from coming to her rescue. Obviously she didn't order to mess him up but what did she expect, he'd be left unharmed when her orders where so specific? The only problem is that HRZ is such a dumb puppy that he'll never accuse her of selfishness and abuse of power as long as he lets him stay by her side. Hasn't she learnt anything this second time around?
"Have you ever asked me if I was willing?" Of course he didn't. When does a selfish, hypocritical, egotistical…
If he let her go the Meng family would have her killed. If he told her that she'd still insist it's none of his business. And I agree. It's none of his business. It's time to let her suffer the consequences of her actions, even if it gets her killed. You mess around you find out. Her attacking Yifei made her a target only this time they can even justify their actions as revenge. I really like the drama but HQ still hasn't learnt much from her previous life. She keeps making the same mistakes. Always rushing in without listening. In fact, she accuses ZXW of keeping her confined and yet she ordered Mu to stop HRZ from coming resulting to him getting injured. So ZXW shouldn't keep her safe for her own good but she has the right to keep HRZ safe for his own good?
Ep26. Ok just let her take the blame. She really trusts no one and made a mess of everything. ZXW is really trying hard to make everything work for her family but she just won't listen. Though I don't like the fact that he keeps her confined I understand why he did it. She doesn't believe a word he says and it's the only thing he said which he can put in effect immediately and prove he is a man of his word! Petty behaviour but then they're both flawed. Oh and can someone explain to me what happened with the maid at the bonus scene? The translation is a bit confusing
The fact that HRZ smells the incense too makes it a bit complicated. What if he's ZXW's voice? She knew a ZXW in reality that was supposedly in love with MY. In her dreamlike state, if we believe that possibility, ZXW is taking care of her and probably talks to her. What if his voice conjured a new person in her dream devoted to her? Bc ZXW never expressed himself in reality she had to dream of someone new, that's why HRZ smells the incense. Only her and ZXW can smell it in the real world.
Ep24. So HQ wants justice for Shen and accuses ZXW for bias but she's the one who wanted her family to escape justice ever since the beginning and in the best possible way for them. Though I don't like ZXW authoritativeness, I do admit that he behaved like a Lord and wants everyone to pay their dues: HQ's family, HRZ and Meng's family, in the best possible way for his family, too. Right now HQ got rid of two suitors. I truly hate though the cheesy music they use when she interacts with HRZ as it gives me the impression they're spoonfeeding us their non existent chemistry(she even called her her brother's name when she was drunk!). I don't feel them as a couple and I hope she won't end up with him. Judging by the way things are going she's cutting ties with everyone, meaning she's reaching the end of the dream:Maids, suitors, family, they're all being abandoned one way or the other. So HRZ is probably one of the last to go bf she wakes up. I just hope her reality won't be cramped in the last 10 min of the series.
"She's definitely not one to preach about jealousy."She certainly can't "preach" but she certainly can call it…
Υou're right, she should confront him, but it's another thing calling a spade for what it is, and another thing altogether expecting people to reach your level of maturity- a maturity she gained after experiencing death bc of her actions. She's actually navigating her new life with a "cheat" card.
