So, YP lives in Jeju to protect his "mom" and judging by the last scene, the father blames her for his wife's death bc they were the only two in the water then. SD's eternal crash on Samdal makes sense since he's always lived in that small place and opportunities were quite limited. Also, the child thinks she's doing her mother a favour by presenting her as a young single childless lady, but she's only making things worse.

I skipped almost all the scenes with the main leads getting cosy.

No. We didn't witness any wedding and I believe if there was one her sisters would have attended it. All we learnt is that she's been chosen as the Crown Princess and she needs to get all the proper training before the wedding.

You're right they're not 2nd leads but I can't shake the feeling they'll cause problems down the road. Obsessive SFL already made a mess and mopey SML's only use do far is to tell ML the real reason she "broke" up with him. Show so far could have moved on without them.

I recall a scene from the trailer where FL is in prison and ML wears a lieutenant's uniform. Could it be she's being framed by her mil as a murderer?
