It feels so unresolved

Watched it for the 8th time! I doesn't lose its charm and I have to admit I finally get the short ending. It felt perfect.

Though fast paced, the handmaiden part was so disjointed I had trouble following through. I understand it's necessary for the plot to undfold but that 7 lifetimes actress really doesn't know how to convey emotions. She's literally dying, then she's walking like nobody's business, remembers she's on death's bed and stumbles, then the wind blowing makes her look almost deranged, and on top of that the FL's wig is parting in weird ways. I just hope her maid survives all this. I liked her in Scent of Time.

1st episode

I don't get it. Will there be a season 2?

The most anticlimactic past connection realisation ever. Everything 's taken for granted by now. Even their love!

I was surprised he didn't ask her anything about her boss. I remember she told him she doesn't know her employer but she also said that she bought the heirloom and yet he still believes she's the girl who saved him. And now he's ledger excited only she was the one who was ordered to steal it. Shouldn't he have her around to watch over her too?

In addition,what's with Qin and GongYang? When has their romance progressed to be discussing about marriage?

The inconsistencies are so annoying! He brings a woman home and hasn't explained why, yet? Also, he's rescued and there's not even a hug??Wtf writers?

I'm on ep16, it is slow burn, ML head over heels first, but the romance is not progressing as it should. We get a wonderful crescento of emotion for their first kiss only to have it ruined by the wacko maid, pick it up again, a smooch, the end. The climax was never reached nor relieved. And life goes on as if nth happened.

It 's a nice though predictable story and I like how the FL is a baddie. My only complaint is the annoying servants and the rather forgotten side story of the rival officer. I thought we were going somewhere with the rival thief girl but the writer forgot to write any lines for them in the last episodes. And what 's with the skinship fear? Shouldn't there be some intimacy btw the leads by now?

That's what I did too! I put it on hold after ep 12 but it's going downhill apparently

Finally a drama where the FL pretends to be a eunuch and looks the part. Also when she's tired the make up is on point! I love the humour, I like how the first prime minister crisis was resolved with his son and the emperor is a dear. The empress is in the middle of a flight and she doesn't know it, what a delightful mess!Ep.11 and I'm a bit sad he already knows she's a woman. It would have been amazing if he had fallen for her as a man

They both had a fast forward vision of the future. Similar to what IS used to have,only this time the future is the same for both of them

Why should there be a motive? It was never personal. His victims were random and he only turned against SJ and IS bc they were responsible for his arrest. As TS said he's nth special, just a loser social mifit

I hope TS gets his spinoff. He deserves a happy ending

Why is it still 9.1? It should have already been more.

It's 100% happy ending. I just wish we get an ending equivalent to Marry my husband or even better a whole ep like Shen Li. I'd love to see glimpses of their life together

But what happened when she was abducted? Or had she managed to avoid that by avoiding SJ? Also, why will he remember?I'm curious to see how that will be explained. It's a pity TS will never remember his friendship with SJ
