SCMP review just dropped and it wont make anyone happy here. "The show also boasts one of the weakest screen villains…
Honestly, people here are just delulu. Long rant ahead... The character of Ryu Si-o was horrible (he distributed dr*gs, and randomly killed and threatened people; no one can justify that) on top of that, he did not show any regret or redemption even when dying. The only reason people are so obsessed with him is because of his sort of sad past (sob story )and also cause of his looks. The ML has a weird hairstyle and barely any screen time, FL is cringy, and too much time is given to grandma's love story (which I skipped altogether), so the only other person to be obsessed with is the villain. The plot itself was peanuts which could have been wrapped with a maximum of 10-12 episodes, instead, they exaggerated the powers of the FL too much and made in a painful 16 episodes. The scenes were so repetitive of sob stories that it felt almost like a loop. The 3 minutes of Bong Soon and Ahn Min Hyuk were more worth watching than the 16 episodes.
The character of the FL was unbelievable since an abandoned child who foster parents brought up usually has a mature aura and here the FL acts worse than toddlers. This was a complete waste of WIFI and time uuuurrrgghhhhh
