Hii there, !! ... I am soo sorry to hear that. But I do understand you , coming from abusive parents myself. For me it only ended after their death. It's physically and mentally exhausting and 1000x times hard when they are your own parents. Leaves a scar that never heals. I really hope you take care of yourself. Also I must tell you, that there are laws, if someone threatens you that "they will kill themselves" , be it your parents... I am not saying you should involve the authority, but just letting you know and just as a measure, if it gets to an extreme point. Offcourse it might be different in different country, but majorly there are. Please check out and research about it if there is any in your country. If there are you might also talk to your mother about it that what she's doing is illegal in the eye of law. Please stay strong! and keep fighting, It will end someday 🫂

Yeah!! Sorry that I just gave my opinion on the general perspective. I mean I remember, people just bashing out on characters and things when Pit babe was airing... Constantly relating it to the novel with excessive brutal comments... I think then you can definitely go on and read the novel if you want.. 👍..
Me being a sucker, that I am for Toxic stories made me read this novel and guess what In terms of toxicity it definitely didn't disappoint , but definitely was tough read. Not gonna lie. Personally, I like when toxic characters suffer 😮💨😮💨 but unfortunately that never happens.

If you want my opinion, I would rather suggest you to wait till the series ends to read the novel. I mean you should enjoy the series first and then read it. This I say because , this novel is really a tough read and it might corrupt your mind about certain character, like it did to me, which is very legit btw.
But then what happens is that the series might be different than that of the novel and then no matter how the character will be portrayed you will always hate them because you know how things unfolded in the novel and you understand the character fully. This might sometime make a lot of people not enjoy the series as it is and continuously related it to the novel. Which I think a lot of people did during Pitbabe.
I regret reading the novel first but atleast I know how to differentiate between the series and the novel and will watch it as it is but still I really hope they make it completely different than that of the novel 😔..... I don't think they should visually show things that happened in the novel. It'll be a bad influence.
I wrote this review with as much honest opinion to give a short disclaimer that this won't be a rather pleasing story.. but yet again I hope they make it bit different..

I saw them.. they literally be kissing each other's cheeks. But yes, I can tell you this... the fanservice couples do these days are always misleading.. don't get too much into them..
