The first Thai movie I watched was a no queer movie. It was pretty famous back around 10 years ago as well. I think they also made remakes of it in many countries. I can't remember the name though.
Straight Thai dramas are popular as well.
It's just that Thai industry produce queer content as much as like no other country does.
