Oh, if this is a BL drama, they would be a couple. Myeongkyun even said he's good at waiting, which is exactly…
Like , you know when it goes from Infatuation>Flirting>Enimies>friends>reconcilation>jealousy>lovers ... (Add anything that's there) That kinda BL drama.π€£π€£π€£ I think they would make a perfect one.
I have decided to not watch the finale episode since I was sure what was going to happen but still with the day of hope and to watch beautiful Poom again I finally watched it and my fears were right and hope crushed. π
I know I will be the 0.001% of those people who don't consider this as a happy ending. But I still do Here's why:
1. The foremost reason Joe came back not for himself but for Ming. πSo in the end it was always about Ming. Ming will be sad if Joe's gone, Ming loves Joe, Ming can't live without Joe.. and Ming Ming Ming forever. But where's Joe and his happiness. I wished Joe came back to live a second chance in life for himself, to experience life (with other people not related to his previous life) , to figure out love at its purest form and to understand it and mostly to learn to love himself than loving someone else.
2. That's it for Tong. WTF!! Do I even need to say more!π€ How dare Ming you say that you think Tong deserves a second chance. Isn't that for Joe to decide π
3. What about old Joe. Who brought him justice? Nobody! not even himself. The fact that old Joe never got recognised for his life's work and ended up ridiculed in the industry because of Tong. Has that name been cleared? No . π‘Eventhough, happening of this all soul shifting mess and Old Joe's soul still alive. But the Old Joe as a living being existed and had a life, which was crushed by Tong and Ming and he never got justice πππ
This series is beautiful, I loved every bit of it . I just wished they'd have done the ending a bit differently. It's not mandatory for everyone to follow the ending those toxic danmei novels written by the masochist fettishers. We all myself included love to read and watch toxic dramas but defining a happy ending is subjective and should be done right. π
So here is my take of HAPPY ENDING to this story: Joe comes back to life and doesn't pass through the door. But he comes back for himself. He takes a break from Ming and moves away with his mother for some time to meet new people, have friendship, understand love and try loving and valuing himself. π While Ming tries to be a better person by giving Joe space, while waiting for his return. Tong publicly acknowledges his previous works were accompanied by actually his Stand in (Old Joe) , and confessing of him tricking old Joe to loose his project as Main lead. π The scene could end with Joe and Ming meeting coincidentally somewhere after couple of years, but a new different and better person to start over.
I was surprised when the episode ended. Seemed like it had just started.Poor San! Waited a 100 years for his love…
What's most funny was the family enthusiastically preparing for the ceremony of Goddess birthday, while knowing the fact that on that day their great grandfather(San) will die. It's like they are soo done with him being immortal and in their lives , so it doesn't matter if he's gone. They are tired of seeing him already. π€£π€£

But I understand, It's not that anyone can start dating someone seriously in just 7days.
I want Yeongjun and Myeongkyun to end up together , that would be the greatest dramatic plot twist of the century π€£π€£π€£
They are soo adorable as well...
Like they pay no attention to the fact that their Great Grandpa is concerned of him being a guy.
He for sure must have right? π€
That's 100 years of agony
I am dying here. π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£
