Same here. I can't drive an exact conclusion about this series. Can you believe I watched The Luminous solution without fastforwarding, skipping scenes or dropping the series. Eventhough it was horrible.

But with this series, it's different. I like it but I am bored.

The first plot hole being having 16 episodes without much progression on the story of other couples and characters.

Like in this highly competitive era of BL when other productions are producing shows that get you soo hooked rip you out of your core. Do you think you can watch PondPhwing playing cat and mouse back and forth for 16 episodes? Probably not? But yes we are watching it with an open heart , but are we really enjoying it? That's a question.
To me this series is a nice watch, but it's just forgettable.

Anyway, my problem here is that this series Isn't bad really! I have watched even worst series than this without fast forwarding. But something here just doesn't make you hooked anymore. I think one of them is the repeated elements. So they went to a volunteering trip, then a ChiangMai trip and then again another trip. It's fine to have repeating plot elements but not when there is basically nothing going on and these repetitions are introduced just to have some cute , lovey dovey moments between couples.

At this point, I legit roll my eyes, with these interrupted and almost kisses in bls

Yeah 7/10 makes sense. I really like lighthearted romcoms. Like I am soo crazily enjoying Wandee Gooday. But I can't just find what was the problem with this one.

I wanted to watch it as a relaxing show, the kind of show you put on while having your dinner, where you don't have to put your all in. But I just couldn't with this one. It was like every scene felt like ,I have watched it before and I swear to you honestly I never skip those kissing scenes(as you already know me 😆) since I like those heart-fluttering butterflies I get. But I was really skipping through these. 🤷
I found it really weird,so ad to contemplate,what actually went wrong and had to discuss this here.

Idk , I think in this highly competitive times when BL content have evolved into more diverse Genre. Will the typical BL University genre thrive , if not made exceptionally with something interesting..

Sorry buddy, but this is not right.

I know if I say something about this drama, everyone is just going to lash me out. But irrespective I'll put my opinion here coz I am really confused.

So, initially I started watching this series without having any expectation since I was already done with university BLs. But I wanted to watch it because of the multi-couple plot and was hoping to see how these all plots were interconnected. Secondly, of course theres Pond Phuwin, who I really loved in Never let me go.

Honestly, I did enjoy couple episodes the endearing friendship, and lighthearted comedy, nad healthy relationships felt soo fresh and heartwarming. But then somehow even though there was nothing wrong, I found myself fast-forwarding scenes, which I rarely do even if the series is really bad. But this series isn't bad! I don't mind slow pacing, slow burn and dragging show and can watch 100 episodes straight of series without any major drama like a sitcom.

But why am I just bored ? I can't truly find this series interesting that even Pond-Phuwin couldn't save it for me? I have no idea
The only thing that I am disappointed about is that the almost no screen time for other couples. Or maybe it was meant to be a series with main couple and the rest, maybe I got the wrong impression from the trailer. But this somehow screems capitalism to me. Like the producers are trying to make money out of popular couples as PondPhuwin... >

Other than that neither could I find anything wrong or could conclude to a reasoning for making me watch this on Fast forward mode only to stop at TanFang (who has got me hooked up till now).

But must agree that their chemistry is burning up.

Am I the only one who thinks Shun and Dai don't belong with each other no matter how much I love them.
Over the years I have learnt to trust my gut feeling, which out of experience is never wrong. No matter how much I ignore it. And my gut feeling here says that Shun will get hurt if he ends up with Dai. Not instantly but, in a long term. Anyhow I don't want Shun to get hurt.

But ironically, guess what I'll still root for Shun Dai.

Yeah, like this only happens in the BL industry. 🤣
Rest everywhere actors work with different actors in every project and if the chemistry is a bit, they get to work in more projects.

In BL industry, the production company capitalise with making an established ship, and there is fanservice too.. which makes noo point. 😕
