I've already watched that and hundred others. Talking about IMDb, no other currently airing shows are in top 400 besides gangnam b side.

It's trending at #6 on Disney+ Worldwide with just 2 episodes, making it the second best performing Disney+ kdrama after moving. The only thing I would call mid here is your taste in dramas.

Gangnam is a rich and populated hub in Seoul. I read somewhere that this is loosely based on burning sun scandal, I am not sure if it took place in Gangnam.

Yes it's real. Gangnam style(song) was a big hit worldwide. They were in gangnam in the worst of evil as well. There's a movie of Lee Min Ho as well called Gangnam Blues.

On IMDb if you check statistics, the unweighted mean is at 8.9, IMDb changes it's calculation parameters once no. of user ratings crosses 100. Give it a week it will settle after a bit fluctuation. Even here if you check statistics, the actual rating is still above 8.

It's true though, LGBT dramas and rom-coms have very inflated ratings on MDL compare to thrillers. Also, he/she didn't say that gay dramas are the reason this drama is not famous so stop acting like a retard.
