You did not mention that the FL's mother is so annoying and one of the reasons I stopped watching this drama.…
I think I did mention her being annoying like Song Qian in 'A Little Reunion' and Mrs. Bennett : ) I do think this personality of Yang Zi's is one that feels more realistic, and I'm kind of sick of C-dramas where the female lead has little to no personality besides what the dialogue 'says'... Could totally understand your viewpoint, though my review was just my opinion!

O gosh, the hotel has already been managed by her mom. Please contact Zhi Ming as soon as possible. Grandma was…
Grandma managed the business for her entire late years. The decision was good; her life's work would likely become commercialized under Botticelli (which was her problem with Zhiming's management in the first place). She weighed her options; she'd rather preserve the legacy of a collapsed hotel that was genuine over a big business farce. Zhiming would learn a valuable lesson here and the decision to let the bank keep ownership + let Chenghuan (competent) manage seem pretty reasonable : )

Yeah, we can see from the initial trailers, when he wouldn't be able to confess to her, MCH will take things in…
Love her personality! Yang Zi's portrayal is SO good here too- when she bickered with Yao Zhiming in ep 12? the stuttering and almost flusteredness really got me

can someone give me the similiar series like witfy?
You've probably seen this already but Hidden Love is similarly wholesome... Falling Into Your Smile is another good one (not quite the same, but definitely a lot better than other stuff out there).

I appreciate your respect too... it's a discussion for viewpoints, not an argument 😅

Title Only for Love Spoiler
Don’t forget she brought along Shi Yan’s niece as chaperone. Her mum is pressuring her to blind date and refuse…
I think the problem is not what she thinks of her actions but the insincerity they may come to represent. As PeterNolan brings up, the degree of seriousness to which she holds herself in the relationship is borderline.. too low. There's no trust- universally viewed as fundamental to the development of romance. While Shi Yan makes efforts to be honest and sincere to her (tbf he is quite passive and slightly neurotic at times), she hides everything from him. The blind dates and situation with the niece are cases in point. Behind his back, she proceeds to go on blind dates with his friend (who also isn't aware of Shuyi and Shi Yan's relationship). Parental pressure is definitely a reasonable factor, but why wouldn't she just tell Shi Yan? Why couldn't she and Yu You (clearly reasonable) simply negotiate a situation where say, none of them attend but both of them pretend to have attended?Furthermore, the rendezvous with Yi Yang during the barrier in the relationship, regardless of whether she's having fun or not, just decreases whatever legitimacy her feelings had. It's a cheesy, typical, romantic drama and stupid things happen- it's inevitable. This just kind of crosses that line- whatever justifications the drama attempts to bring to her actions, it doesn't take a genius to understand that she's either incredibly naive or simply doesn't care enough about Shi Yan.
