It's a good story. She doesn't have a bf and she didn't chase after him because she didn't have feelings at first. The guy knew later on that she was single but couldn't confess bcz he knew she didn't like him, and they're friends. But once they confirmed their relationship, nobody could stop them anymore, not even the thought that they might be siblings. That was hilarious btw. The FL is easily one of my fave FLs. Can't wait for the drama and a proper translation of the novel.

Well, I did, but it doesn't mean she's not strong and resilient. It hurts because she look pathetic and desperate when it comes to Li Xun's love. No matter how much one beautify their love story, Zhu Yun suffered from his treatment, and that would never change.

He humiliated her in front of their colleagues, bringing back old wounds that she knew she suffered so much from. Got hospitalized, and forgave him the next day.

Zhu Yun is pathetic in my view because she knew she couldn't let go of Li Xun. She knew there was no way she could love another the way she loves him despite everything she went through. And that's okay, because that's her choice.

I've wanted to watch L&P for a long time but I would always check on novelupdate the ratings and reviews every dramas that got adapted from a novel first before watching it and it has low ratings and so many negative reviews so I thought I'd pass this one.

But then I got interested in ZJY's acting in BIA so I watched FIL and immediately became a fan! Then L&P, it honestly came on top of my modern c-dramas list, in terms of acting, pacing, and even the plot where most female viewers would hate an almost desperate female lead. But you'll only feel sorry for her, instead of annoyance.

I was a fan of K-drama before, but I dunno, C-dramas are just good. Especially those that got adapted from a novel. Whether historical or modern.

Yeah, it's so good! I just finished watching it and I haven't slept yet. Though I must admit that I was sad because they made her character obsessed with Li Xun. I have no problem with female chasing male but if that female got hurt, I wanna see some redeeming from the male which didn't happen.

I'll still give it a perfect score though, because it was for the plot. And both Zhang Jing Yi and Chen Fei Yu really gave justice to their characters. Even the support characters are incredibly good.

I've seen this drama on Netflix before but I ignored it because of the low ratings on NovelUpdate. But I became fan of Zhang Jing Yi after watching Blossoms in Adversity. I've been binge watching her works so I decided to checkout L&P.

It's a must watch! So good. The plot! The acting! Even better if they didn't overdo Zhu Yun's pathetic character. I really like her (ZJY truly gave justice to this character) but after all those tears she shed by getting humiliated, her feelings got trampled on, I really thought she'd give up, then I'll finally see some actions from Li Xun's end, but I just ended up disappointed.

After that, their sweet moments no longer give me butterflies.

Nevertheless, it is still a top tier modern c-drama! Because people like Zhu Yun exists in real life. There really are people out there who will not give up on their love no matter how many times they've been hurt. Some are lucky, some are not.

This drama hurts me so much. The acting is crazy!

I'm a new fan of Zhang Jing Yi. Watching her Blossom in Adversity, and she's honestly good! Also watching her Fall In Love and I am so loving it! Gotta watch Lighter and Princess next.

Yeah. This is my Qian Sha Cha Ke's favorite work next To ROTMEOML, and I don't really wanna get disappointed :(

Tho, I like Zhou Ye's acting in her latest work with Ling Yi, so let's see. And she really is rocking that attire. Her face is beautiful and as a man, this face could be called 'jade beauty' which novels often described their male leads. That's why He Yan's appearance suits her.

This drama made me love PXR and I've rewatched the ending for the second time and it didn't fail to have my eyes bawling out.

I wonder if Deposed Empress General will also have an adaptation?

I'd give it a try. Hopefully it really is different from the novel because the male lead there makes me wanna punch him on his face. I don't doubt Xiao Ran giving justice to Ji Man because she's really an excellent actress. So, yeah. Thanks btw!

More projects for Xiao Ran, please! She deserve to be recognized for her acting skills! She's also very beautiful, like a doll. Took notice of her since Goodbye My Princess and Jun Jiu Ling. I've been binge watching her dramas. She's so good in Shining Just For You, and I saw a different side of her acting in Unshakable Faith. Tho I'm not sure if I can watch the Romance of a Twin Flower because I've read the novel and it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Damn. I wasn't expecting for that thunder AND sky freezing! Also Princess Jiejie's part, I dunno, I usually don't like side characters' parts but I didn't expect that scene in a historical drama 😅

Wow! It's really good! Usually, no matter how much I like the actors, if its genre is xianxia, I couldn't finish it. But with Legend of Shen Li, I find myself refreshing the page hoping to find a new update 🙏

Idk but he's good in SOKP. Tbh I dont really want this to get an adaption bcz this is the first novel i've read that's not on wattpad, and the reason why i became addicted and has high standards when it comes to chinese novels. I still think they wouldn't be able to give justice to this story :(

Before anyone come at me, you should watch Liu Haocun's Derailment and Zhang Ling He's Story Of Kunning Palace. Both of them ate their roles! Ofc Bai Lu and Lusi are also good actresses but I think BL doesnt fit Shen Miao's role as she looks mature, Lusi looks bright and bubbly so I can't see Shen Miao in her.

I can see BL as He Yan in Qian's Rebirth of a Star General but the role is already given to someone else :(

ROTMEOML is one of my faves and I do agree that Shen Miao's role would suit her! Especially now that they kinda allowed rebirth trope. I hope they don't ruin the novel, like what happened to Princess Weiyoung. I watched her in Derailment and I was impressed! Gotta watch out for her next work coz she's so good!

It's actually a great story. I can't remember how many tears I shed during those episodes with sad scenes, mostly the fl's parts. The female lead is such a great actress!

It's just that one obviously fake kissing scene! It ruined the romance part for me and the leads' chemistry went down the drain after that episode imo.

This is the first drama i've watched of Liu Hao Cun and I wish she gets more recognition after this show coz she's seriously good.
