Because the first 26 episodes where really good. But not the whole drama.

I actually enjoyed the show in its first few episodes. I stopped for a few days and picked it up again at episode 27, and I was extremely surprised when I checked the rating. I've seen many good Chinese dramas, and this one is good, but it's not magnificent or among the best. For someone new to Chinese dramas, using this as a reference point isn't worthwhile compared to many others in the genre.
Not trigerred rather than surprised

For a site like MDL, which serves as a guide and source of information for so many people, to have credibility, the reviews need to be more realistic. I think there's a lot of exaggeration surrounding the quality of this drama, and that the male lead was exploited for his looks, and his character was weak and romanticized. It doesn't deserve a 9.1 at all

You can't rate a drama so highly if it has flaws. For reviews and ratings to have real value, they must follow an evaluation scheme to be reliable

I wonder. Is this drama rated by beginners or by romantics who love beauty and repetition? The first 25 episodes were very good. The last 15 are a disaster. Boring, with a male lead overshadowed by a female lead who doesn't fill the gaps. Not even close to a 9. Every day I trust the people who rate on this site less and less. At most, it deserves an 8.5. I still have 5 episodes left and I'm struggling to finish it.

Pero yo medio confiaba en el criterio global. Cada dia las mejores series puntuadas, son las mas románticas con final feliz y parejas de ensueño. Está serie es entretenida y esta bien ejecutada, pero ni de lejos le llega a un Palacio Yanxi o a LLTG. Los planos a la cara del ML fueron demasiado obvios para resaltar la belleza. Pierde seriedad.

Aburrido, con un protagonista masculino rebasado por una FL que no llena los huecos. Ni de cerca un 9. Cada dia confio menos en las personas que puntuan en esta página. Como maximo merece un 8.5. Aún me faltan 5 capítulos y estoy luchando por terminar.

Well, almost all of your reviews are either 1 or 1 or 1, maybe a 3 from time to time... maybe Asian dramas aren't your thing, to be honest...

she is lost at first. But she will find herself again...for good....

I agree with you for episodes 10 and 11. Her expressions are more neutral and robotic. Like... I don't feel... I don't say... I hold it in. It's weird after seeing her be sweet, or be kind. I hope to see more pain and anger in the following episodes... like an adult turning the page or demanding what they deserve.

So far so good. I did not expect this drama to be so good. I can´t wait for tomorrow. Zhao Lusi never fails. She´s genuinely the best.
