it's a good show but duoduo is a bit like a mean girl ngl bc why is she making faces and laughing whenever chu han speaks. does she not like her only bc they were interested in the same guy? but she's not entitled to anything, esp since she didn't send him the candy, like how are you gonna get mad at someone for talking to another person when you're doing the same thing. also if duoduo doesn't like her and doesn't wanna talk to her then she can just keep some distance. she doesn't need to make faces, laugh, and be passive aggressive. just be mature, take her aside and tell her you need some distance. i'm glad chu han called them out in the group setting bc they were acting like that in public itself, duoudo has been acting this way since the night all of them shared their childhood photos. i feel bad for chu han :/
also mars (i think that's his name?) telling duoduo she didn't do anything wrong and to not feel bad, that was not okay. esp since he didn't see what she was doing. taking sides without even knowing what fully happened as an outsider to the incident is crazy. and duoduo letting kunkun apologize bc chu han misinterpreted what he meant without saying anything when it was actually duoduo being rude
watched him in the legend of the female general and fell in loveee, now watching footprints of change just for him lol. does anyone know if he's on instagram or xiaohongshu?
just finished this - it's so beautifully done! tbh i skipped over the mom's love story arc completely, xiao han and he ran were portrayed so well. the fact that there wasn't really anyone "wrong" in their relationship, it was just circumstances that kept pulling them apart.
this was my first jerry yan series and i have fallen in love with him omg he is so soft spoken and he played his character so well (the emotions just from his eyes and face omg) does anyone have any jerry yan series or movie recs? (honestly his voice is so sweet)
i wish it was just a bit longer but i get that it was an open ending so they didn't really want to go past that point. i cried so much in the last three episodes ugh why aren't there any fics of this on ao3 lol
spoiler ahead ig i personally think it was a happy ending. i remember her mom saying she had found a doctor in america, and i was trying to be optimistic about their conversation in the snow in the last episode like when he ran said "if i don't come back..." to me meant she was going away for treatment, in the post credits scene she does come back. it could also be they met in the afterlife or something along those lines.
it's a good show! ML carried in terms of acting, and the SML. in terms of characters, FL and ML were amazing and smart! tbh takes a few episodes to get used to FL's voice. the pacing was good but not enough for their romance, that arc felt very rushed and not very well done. i agree with them being cuter when they still acted like siblings than when they fell in love. last 1-2 episodes felt very rushed, honestly could be better paced with 5 more episodes or so. overall really nice and would rewatch (FL can never catch a break man 😭) (ML being good at everything omg 🤩)
does anyone have any historical cdrama recommendations like this one where the ML is protective over/protects the FL (bodily/physically)?
i'm very confused about the purpose of this show. there are groups who have already debuted, also li quanzhe and theo being in the same group that hasn't officially disbanded yet(?), if in the end seven trainees are debuting, would they take members from groups that have already debuted?
following my comment from last week about li quanzhe, somone really needs to fill me innn becasue what on earth…
they're in a cpop group together called NEXT, no idea if they've officially disbanded or what happened between them, one of them is sent as a contestant and the other as a mentor/judge so it's definitely gonna be a bit awkward
