do you remember that scene in ep23 when zhu yan went batshit for the second time and xiao zhuo came to poke him with the needle? "the eyes on the inside" one, li lun making his po-huan-zhen-yan gesture, then him and xiao zhuo overlapping. i found it cool, but confusing at that time. but thinking of it now, it was obviously a foreshadowing of the ending.
and then after restoring the sword, zhu yan saw the overlapping again and made xiao zhuo promise to spare li lun.
i wonder if he knew all along what was going to happen aside from the stupid curse/prophecy.
