Calming mature couple

I've watched 6 episodes and I'm extremely invested in this drama. I'm going to stop watching the drama until all the episodes are released and then binge watch all the episodes. I think my emotions would end up in shambles if this has a sad ending, even though it doesn't seem like it, I'm gonna wait for the show to end before resuming. The characters are very mature, they talk about their own circumstances instead of wait for them to randomly pop up and create drama. I think that is the aspect that I love the most about this drama.

EDIT: I complete watching the drama very heartwarming the only weird part I found about this drama is that in episode 27 and episode 28 they show only the ML missing the FL because she was abroad and the FL even pushes the date of returning back by 2 months just because she got an internship which she tell the ML about only after get the internship. You see how much the ML misses the FL but you never get any scenes about the FL missing the ML. It was quiet weird to see that for me.

You cannot change the future

All 30 episodes are said to be a dream of the FL while she was in a coma for 2 years. The FL chooses to wake up from her coma or dream and confront the past in reality rather than stay in the ideal dream happily.

The ending made me furious. I did not watch 30 episodes of 3 days just see that everything was just a dream. The ending pretty much says that you cannot change the future, there is no second chance and the only thing you can do is face the future and try to make up for past regrets even if you cannot.

The ending also is quite open with the prince who love the FL taking care of the FL for two whole years and hoping she wakes up. He loved her both in the dream and in reality. In my view they pretty much end up together due to the influence from the dreams influence on the FL and since the ML always did love her.

You can only live out your life in this cursed reality and change nothing.

Problems, problems and more problems. Watch if you need something to feel stressed about.

First why are there so many episodes? It could've been completed in 25 episodes but is 36 episodes long. This is not a healing drama, I guess this is something you watch if you don't have any problems in real life and just want to feel stressed about.

By the time I watched the 10th episode my mind was asking me for permission to shut down. I had to take a break and finished this drama because I started it.

It is too much drama for any normal person!!

Sizzling chemistry but story feels dragged on sometimes.

The chemistry was one of the best I've seen in a drama. It's a mature drama even though there is a love triangle and it takes 18 episodes to resolve. The FL is someone who has never dated before and has a tough time feeling love. The ML is younger than the FL by eight years and slowly erodes away the hardness in her heart. Everytime these two were on screen it made my heart flutter. Even the small moments like holding hands, helping her after she got drunk made my heart flutter.

The only downside about this drama is that it takes long to mature. They could've removed 2 episodes and the plotline wouldn't have changed at all.

The longer drama time has been balanced with the amazing romance of the cast. I always thought Gina Jin was beautiful ever since I saw her in You Are My Glory. So I tried this with her as the main cast.

A fairytale romance so beautiful that it moves you to tears

I have seen around 100-150 Asian dramas most of them are beautiful but only 3 dramas including this moved me to tears and had my heart going 'I want a relatioship like that' (The other two are Meet Yourself and It's Okay To Not Be Okay). The plot is about an older woman who comes from a powerful family and a younger man who comes from a common family.

The casting of Song Hye-Kyo and Park Bo-Gum could not have been more perfect. The emotions are so rich and vivid that I had to skip some of the scenes the first time around because they overwhelmed me.

It is one of those dramas where nearly everything is perfect. There are only two things they could've changed to make this drama perfect:
1. The trope of the evil mother-in-law (ex-mother-in-law) and the controlling mother. Personally I think this troope is overused in Asian dramas.
2. The lack of communication before doing something and 'I am doing this help you even if this isn't what you or I want'. The characters trust each other no matter the circumstances which takes away the reality aspect of it but this is a FAIRYTALE ROMANCE so it didn't bother me too much.

I love all their little moments and the growth of their romance from an ember to a raging fire, breaking up and then evolving into each other's soulmate is something I loved.

Aspects I loved in this romance:
1. The chemistry, I cannot stress how good the chemistry is between the two actors. Even the way they look at each other makes my heart tingle.
2. The MLs positivity where he has an attitude of everything is gonna be alright as long as I persist.
3. The side characters who support both the ML and FL in their tough moments and gibe them amazing advise.
4. The comedic moment which feel natural instead of being funny for the sake of being funny.
5. The older woman who is already gone through life and younger man who is just starting out trope is something that I always liked and this drama is no different.
6. The bits of poetry and philosophy that the ML tells the FL as advise and as support.

Finally, I have a feeling that I am going to keep rewatching this drama again and again until I die. It's so romantic that it makes me feel lonely, sad and happy at the same time.

Don't watch it if you're impatient

I loved Wang Churan's acting since I first saw her in an antagonistic role in Royal Feast. I don't know why she got so much hate for this drama. I agree that her character is poorly written. The character is indecisive, weak hearted and a pushover. I fee; some of the starting episodes don't feel natural and feel as if they added episodes just for the sake of episodes. Some of the episodes just don't provide any emotional or progressional value. They could've removed 5 episodes and the story wouldn't have changed.

The evil mother who is too controlling is kept till the penultimate episode of the series and doesn't get any character development or backstory. She only accepts Yang Yang's character as her daughter's boyfriend in the penultimate episode when he save her from a flooded tunnel.

As I said in the title the drama is very slow in the progression. It takes 25 episodes for the character to come to be in a relationship with Yang Yang's character again. The chemistry was sizzling between Yang Yang and Wang Churan in this drama.

As someone who doesn't like watching melodramatic drama's, it was very hard for me to binge watch this series. Sometimes I felt so frustrated with Wang Churan's character that I wanted to punch the wall (I feared breaking my wrist, so I didn't).

At the end the only reason I watched this series was because of Wang Churan, if you want to just kill time you can watch it. Just keep your phone close in case you get bored. The final 15 episodes are where you watch the FL get character development and change for the better.
