Title Dhevaprom: Poncheewan Spoiler
My girl Cheewan didn't stand up at all. 😭 Girl, you didn't even give Saruj a hard time. 😭 Saruj just came back and gave her flowers, and that’s it? Without even explaining, she already accepted flowers. It's as if he wasn't gone for a long time 😭 Then suddenly, they’re kissing, they're together, and there's a proposal right away 😭"

chemistry is there but the plot isn't..

Fans already told them from the first episode, but it only got worse with each episode. KaoPP look good together, but their sweet scenes seem like they were just added for the sake of having sweet scenes, without any development or clear reason for being there. Also, the test of love that Saruj suggested was so cringey, like why? It's not in the novel, btw. And when he used that rope on Cheewa, I didn't like it.

That's actually the novel's storyline—Cheewa's circumstances, how Cheewan helps her, and how Cheewan and Saruj fall in love along the way. Cheewan was supposed to push Saruj towards Cheewa because she thought she wasn't worthy of him, but that didn't happen much. It's true that the PhumCheewa storyline doesn't make sense, and we don't like it either. But, to be honest, nothing about this lakorn makes sense anyway. In the novel, PhumCheewa's story is different but wasn't fully developed. Novel fans don't even like Cheewa for Phum because she kind of made him a rebound. Initially, Phum only cares for the child because of his sixth sense and starts caring for Cheewa later. We don't like how they turned him into a negative person; he was never like that in the novel.

Regarding screentime, they didn't show PhumCheewa much, merely appearing every now and then until episode 14—just one episode, and they're already being hated. And why them? It's not even their fault, yet the hatred is directed towards them? Make it make sense. Our disappointment is towards the production and scriptwriter for ruining a beautiful story and for not putting any effort into promoting the second couple and Khun Phum. The lack of promotion is very clear when compared to Duj Apsorn's promotion of Phum, even though he isn't even the second lead there.

I really feel bad for Kao and PP’s characters… like the scriptwriters really screwed Cheewan and Saruj up…
By the way, Cheewa appears more in the novel. As for screentime, Phum and Cheewa only had more screentime in the last episode, where they tried to cram all the drama and resolution of their story. Everything was rushed, so even the editing and scene cuts were a mess. The earlier episodes were filled with nonsense scenes that could have been left out and weren’t even in the novel. Like, why did they make Saruj work like a servant in the province? There was even a kidnap scene? Kidnap a royalty, rich, powerful and an ambassador??? Even tye mafia fears them (if you watched Duj Apsorn and the cool scene of Phet). Who do they think they are? Saruj is royalty, and his father is the benefactor of their family, so why did they treat him like that? It's so dumb.

Honestly, I'm just forcing myself to watch this for Saint. I was so excited about this series because I was hyped for his role in Duj Apsorn. Duj Apsorn was incredible, especially in terms of promotion and plot. They put Phum on a pedestal with their storytelling and gave Saint significant attention in their promotion. However, in Poncheewan, Saint didn’t receive much promotion even though he was supposed to be the second lead. We constantly had to tag them about teaser photos, BTS shots, or anything related to him and SaintCreamy (PhumCheewa). The funny thing is they even released several photos with cheap edits, where parts of Saint's face were chopped off. Saint didn’t appear until episode 5, even though they teased his appearance at the end of episode 2, which was truly confusing. We thought that with his appearance, the story of him and Cheewa would slowly develop, but it didn’t! He appeared for more or less 5 minutes in the subsequent episodes. Honestly, there were a lot of unnecessary scenes in the series, and many things were confusing or didn’t make sense. Instead of adding those, they should have focused on developing the characters and the plot of the main leads and the second couple, but they didn’t. It was a failure and a disappointment. I read that the characters are also different from the novel. Honestly, I find Cheewan irritating (Cheewan, not PP—I love PP) because she's so immature. And why is Saruj suddenly touching Cheewan like they are in a relationship or something when they are not? It looks like harassment to me. And now, he even goes back to his ex—like, be for real. It doesn’t make sense. What disappoints me even more is how they dragged Phum down. This is not the Khun Phum we know from La-Orchan, Jai Phisut, and Duj Apsorn. They turned him into a third party and a simp. Khun Phum is kind, patient, and level-headed, but they made him the total opposite in the recent episodes. They changed the storyline so much. I know it wasn’t supposed to be that way. Phum was there for the child, loved Cheewa afterward, and patiently waited until she was ready. I don’t understand why in the series they made everyone into awful people. Thank you for adding more background to the PhumCheewa story, but that background didn’t make sense. Even the editing was laughable. How was Phum able to walk hours after he was just in therapy? No one even visited Phum at the hospital. The younger PhumCheewa was also confusing. Last time, Cheewa was just a little girl, but the next time she appeared, she was a grown woman, and Phum was still the same age. You should have put Creamy for younger Cheewa from the beginning since their age gap isn’t that big anyway. Even the clothes in the series are terrible. Now I see people hating on Saint, Creamy, and the PhumCheewa storyline, saying the production is trying to push them, when it was the scriptwriter’s fault that the main pair didn’t develop. We’re tired of asking for proper promotion for Saint, so please give us and him a break and leave him out of your frustrations. We’re frustrated too.
