Does any body knows if the series is based on a novel or a book?

For a 'low budget' show, I enjoy the visuals; the colors were pretty and in tune with the story. I love the chemistry between the actors. Despite the story being way too short, I feel like it was easy to follow and understand. All things considered, they need to make a full series or another season. I don't think we're getting Season 2, but if we do: Jae Min, you need to get your act together and have a little faith in your man. So what if So Ri spreads rumors? That's not the only institution to work for. Nam Yi, you need to step it up a notch; people like to feel mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially supported by their significant other. So with that being said, have that 'Yes!' ready when he asks again.
