Ya they are acting weak in terms of showing reactions but the mafia and bullies really showed some variety of reactions though.

Some people tend to not use their minds in serious situation like their minds go blank and so it's only the smart ones that manipulate people according to their mind.

that's true they should have discussed it rationally but their were already 2 mafias present with them with the intention of killing citizens as much as possible so maybe they influenced them.
