I'm not sure if i am correct but this is what i understand: all the gods and devils are made from the power of chaos..which is what yuanqi is made out of. So by getting the devil origin, it can help yuanqi

Mingqi was a devil whose fate was to be against the three realms and be evil. Now, however, knowing that it was possible for him to change his own fate, he thought that he should give it a go. Therefore, he thought that maybe, he could go against his (fate of being evil) and help yuanqi. For the ending, he wanted to take on tribulations in the mortal realm because he wants to experience the world and be free
While i do agree that ZLS is an amazing actor. I still think that both actors performed each of the dying scenes…
After thinking about it again, I dare to say that this is one of ZLS's best dramas. I think that in this drama, she was able to show her acting range. From, youthful, to mature, cheerful to sad , she showed that she could act every single one of them. AND i gotta say, im amazed..like literally
Did anyone notice the perfect crying scene, Zhao Lusi acted when Yuanqi died in front of her , First her lips…
While i do agree that ZLS is an amazing actor. I still think that both actors performed each of the dying scenes to the very best. I remember not daring to watch the crying scene when A yin died, because i could see the pain in WAY's eyes. NGL im still annoyed that they cut out the part when WAY screamed after her death (it was in the BTS) For this second death, ZLS also executed very well, I could too feel the pain. To me, I wont say one surpassed the other, instead, let's just appreciate that both did an amazing job!! :) P/S..I can proudly say that i am going to watch every ZLS and WAY dramas now hehe
THIS drama is just about regretting past decisions. While the characters in this drama got their second chance, I hope that anyone reading this comment will be able to live a life with no regrets. If not, it will be too late...

Another thing i want to point out is LETS all take a step back and see ourselves in Yuan Qi's shoes.
Ur whole family got murdered, you undergo major calamity, suddenly become a god. AND now everybody is pestering you to make decisions. He had no previous experience, HE IS A COMPLETE ROOKIE.. On top of that, He just got wacked by some devils, had his soul sucked out. So, dude is likely physically strained, mentally tired/ traumatised. Additionally, all his previous plans were falling through, which would make he even more panicked. Are we sure, this dude can even make clear decisions anymore?
Well, of course, he still made some messed up decisions like destroying A yin entire home, and killing her. Which is of course wrong. But, maybe its just who am i, but i cant get myself to completely hate this dude. I feel bad for him, I wish to see his character growth, I wish to see him become a better person. Does that nesscarily mean that i want to see him end up with FY for a happy ending. Well, that is going to depend on how FY thinks right. Does she still love him? Not gonna lie, i dont mind a ending where ML sacrifices himself for FL as an apology.

Just my personal view, if this scenario, as stated earlier, were to happen, I think that a yin and yuan qi would just hv a rather sweet romantic happy ending. Where, likely the ML will be protecting a yin from dangers...blah blah I think if that were to happen, I would be even more dissatisfied. Because it doesn't justify the ML wishy washy actions earlier (ie. breaking a yin heart with the love threads). To me, it gives me the impression that it was ok to toy with a yin feelings, as in the next few episodes, the ML is going to stand up for her anyways. It seems rather manipulative to me... I'd rather hv a FL that has her own ability to defend herself and make decisions for herself, which we are going to see in the FY arc.
On top of that, this Yuan Qi guy needs to learn a lesson. Although brutal, I'm sure it will be a great wakeup call for this ML to communicate his thoughts better and improve.

I seriously think that they sealed gu jin's mouth which prevents him from communicating his plans with a yin. Like the characters are suffering from crippling miscommunication.
I really like how this plot is evolving. Usually, after the ML decides to kill the FL and hurt her feelings. Somehow, the FL will be quick to forgive the ML for a happy ending (which is weird af). But in this drama, the FL gets her revenge, which i think gives the viewers slightly more satisfaction ( maybe not a lot but at least there is some..)
However, my biggest worry is that the ending maybe slightly rushed. Throughout the course of the year, i have seen so many dramas rush their endings and to be honest, I'm frustrated. Some examples are like (my journey to you, legend of anle...the list goes on) SO I AM PRAYING FOR A CLEAN ENDING!!
