i started watching this knowing everyone was running this to the ground thinking it was an awful show but some of y’all are tripping lol this isn’t THAT bad…. it’s very entertaining and decent given the tropes… i do wish the childhood plot line hadn’t happened cause they had sooo much potential and chemistry to build their relationship from scratch but it’s a kdrama with ALL the tropes, i don’t know why i was thinking otherwise
i loved this and i stand by my words again and again YALL A BUNCH OF HATERS omg go outside, this is a very solid 8.5, i agree the stabbing was not necessary, jonghui's personality change after the time skip was not necessary... HELL EVEN THAT WEIRD THREE WAY DATE AT THE BEACH WAS NOT NECESSARY but overall it was such a good coming of age adaptation in the 80's with overall great world building and decent characters (not all of them had development but at least it was entertaining) do yeahhhb solid 8.5!!! i'm saying!!!
i wish daejoo's actor and veronica's actress had gone super viral mainstream top 10 awesome popular most awarded booked and busy... cause they were really good on this one
i started this drama because i loved jin kijoo in undercover highschool- but i ended up falling in love with kim youngkwang's acting omggg despite the fact that his character was described as stone cold, we literally only got like 2 eps of him being nonchalant at most lmao to me he was whipped from day one and that made this soooo enjoyable, you could tell he was really into galhee cause of her personality and care,, that level of proximity and attention between a secretary and a boss is a no brainer for romance in this scenario- THAT is why i appreciated even more the whole side plot of the other secretaries and workers fighting for their rights as to not romanticize this dynamic as a whole ....
now,,, veronica park and daejoo stole the show omg i feel like this drama was written in a very intelligent and mature way so all of these characters were able to express themselves in a ver realistic way idk i did like this drama a looot- i thought it was a 2016 drama cause those were the vibes, so carefree and a nice plot twist to a good old classic trope lol (i did not mind for the deceiving drama tbh it was a very real thing for galhee to do given the circumstances and she thought she'd be fired at first or cursed at , then she fell in love so it was harder to tell the truth than enjoy that window of delusion, i get it was wrong but idk i am delulu myself so i prob would've done the same lmao it was THEE do minik after all)
dominik was prob my second favorite character overall (obvi after the original veronica park) cause of how vulnerable yet honest he was- most MLs are written in a very -emotionally constipated- way and he was very real to me, from the moment he lost the ability to recognize faces he sought out a way to be more perceptive on others (yet he couldn't remember voices, god bless) and i loved how he accepted towards the end to the entire board that his disability had given him a better understanding of others idk i might fight someone for his happiness or whatever
didn't thought i would be so invested in this drama BUT IT WAS REALLY COMFORTING, loved it... solid 8.5/10 cause some plotlines dragged a bit longer on miscommunication but overall really good
taepoong saying yeah we had a fight but smiling sooo big omg i love them, even when he doesn't mean to upset miseon he still acknowledges his wrongdoings, apologizes and communicates (hehe let's forget the collateral as a secret, he was trying not to upset her lol) i live for this duo omg best 2025 couple, so mature and respectful!!!!
i forgot how bad i disliked this one but the firey pit inside me started glowing when i saw the poster again lmaoooo what a mess! almost every single character was infuriating and had no growth lol
kang taepoong the gentleman that you are... he's such a green flag, he's soooo considerate of miseon and you can tell he has so much respect for her and genuinely acknowledges how smart she is... they're already so comfortable with each other... my cosmos couple <3 this is the best kdrama couple in soooo long for me, this had progressed so naturally
ohhhhhh why didn't the mom tell him about the eviction date,,, at least they could've moved most of their stuff elsewhere and maybe even found a place to stay within their means GODDDDDD
i wish this drama was longer, i just binge watched all of it and now i'm sad that the first ongoing weekend is the last one... oh my- just my luck :(((
