The romance didn’t feel cringey to me at all. The Alzheimer’s plot was just what the parents thought was happening, but it wasn’t the case. Plus, they handled the depression storyline really well. Overall, it’s a healing drama but its your opinion.

The drama might not have worked for you, and that’s fine everyone has their own opinions. As for the ratings, I don't think the drama was overly hyped, but it does have an audience that understood and appreciated it. MDL ratings are unreliable with over 40 troll accounts affecting the scores, so it’s no surprise that it could go down or up . But again, it's all subjective. Peace out.

While the plot may have some flaws, the show has qualities that resonate with some people The characters do have their flaws despite their age, but that makes them relatable in some ways.
