Finished this and yes i stand by my points. Both lead are so boring especially Kazehaya, maybe he is new or he isnt? Other pairing makes me much more invested to watch rather than when Kazehaya appear. I keep on pressing the skip button tbh. If awkwardness is a person, he surely is. Usually i felt the spark when the main lead interact but not this time.
Other pairing are much better especially the Ramen couple, love their chemistry. Btw, best character in this drama surely goes to Pin-sensei. Man, how i hate him in one of the drama he played (as teacher too) with Nagano Mei. But this time he is cool. Great acting for sure from a senior.
Lots of people commenting on Sawako being so pretty and didn't suit the premise etc, i don't agree with that. In previous movie i still look at her as a really pretty girl tbh, and this time too. Even in the anime/manga, for me she is such a beautiful girl. She is fine for me.
If i were to recast, imagine if we get Nagano Mei as Sawako and Meguro Ren or even Sakaguchi Kentaro as Kazehaya, damn!!! I'm being dululu for sure.

Even the anime version is so cool. the actor potrays him somewhat look pathetic and pitiful tbh. Same as the guy who act as Ryu (he looks incredible in this series btw), he looks terrible when he is the Main Lead in Ao Haru Ride but here he is amazing. Love that.
Even when Kento came, i felt he suits better to Sawako than Kazehaya does tbf. I stll didn't finish yet this is just my current standing
Lots of people say she's a great actress and i can see that but i really didn't fancy how she act in Lovely Runner. Did she always over acting for her 'surprised/shocked' expression? Other than that she's incredible but those mentioned moments seems off for me. This is not hating her just curious as I didn't watch her other works yet.
Btw LR start off really well but the plot after few episode feels meh for me. Really wish she would use her 'Saying future facts' power to stop the villain but she didn't even use it to her advantage. Drama could end in less than 10 episode imo. Got potential but fall off imo.
You know what, i don't think i ever wrote a review but i want to do it here. I'm episode 4 right now, 2 more to go but the amount of skip button i pressed in this season is so unhealthy. Really cringe watching Futaba with that band guy. I hate the writing for that part 😒😒😒😒
