The same to my reaction, I can initially feel Wen Wen and Amber got something special connected together during first episodes by his current behavior, but not by any childhood scene. And after watching EP 9, I can somehow understand the previous scene of Amber's shy reaction when he got caught by A'Le while washing his T-shirt.
And like you say, this series got me unexceptedly emotional by the Amber character.
man i hate that among the 2022 BLs released from Taiwan, this got the least amount of attention... don't get me…
Came here after watching My Tooth Your Love and couldn't agree more. Like for the sake, why these BL series got somehow heavy storylines, even for the "Plus & Minus" 🥲
I didn't get much intention to put this drama to my watchlist due to low public attention and cast... but man, I don't regret for this.
I gotta say this series literally wrecked me to pieces, 'cause I didn't expect it to be so emotional 😭 Watching few first episodes has already hinted me about the special connection between Wen Wen and Amber, really until when the four people explored Guilai Abbey and discussed whether both legendary characters were the same gender. Very RARE storyline, slow-paced plot, soft personality, and I think you can guess some small details while watching, but overall suitable (for me) when the two lead characters have already had deep (and maybe tacit) connection. Not to mention the opening and ending OST sound really healing ❤️🩹
Bravo to the kid casts 'cause they are cute and warming. Such a pity when this series is somehow underrated.
Still enjoyable enough to watch although I can feel the low effort of budget. Stan Huang did a great job, at least for his first main role, and he's the reason I keep watching this not-so-good-plot drama 😶
