Arghhh. I thought it would just be any other drama lately, where the plot is mediocre, but still the chemistry and the actors are food in the eye, so I thought I can stand watching it daily. I fear that if I waited in the end, and I was spoiled somewhere in the future chapters that it's mediocre then I would not be interested to start this. Atleast watching it daily and dropping it one day is still worth for the enjoyment of the past episodes. But damn, it is so good. I have a very high standards in Cdrama but so far I have no complaints to it. And now, I have to wait everyday for two weeks😭

That's also what I love of this drama. Every side couple are so good in their story. The chemistry is always there. Even the Heir Apparent and that Stronghold Leader.
My only mistake is watching this before it finished airing. it's soo good. It already made me lose sleep for two nights straight. I was only her because of Zhang Linghe and Tian Xiewie, but damn everything is so good in this cdrama

The motivation could be saving the whole planet or humanity. Solving the mystery or achieving one's dream like being a famous doctor or something.
It's more like the goal of the story. What they are aiming for and how relevant it is to readers. For example, the motivation is going back to past and saving someone who died in the future. The feeling of watching that happen, with the challenges and overcoming it, the twist the might happen and the prospect of what will happen like 'Will she save him? Or will she fail ' is what motivates the readers and watchers to continue reading it. That the psychology of goals and motivation in storytelling. That's why some authors and producers give way to fan feeding, they sacrifice the plot just to cater what the general public will want and consume.
