the thing is I am liking this more than the princess royal but.....what's wrong with the cuts and editing. I don't think the censorship is to blame but rather the post production who has done a bad job.
I actually felt bad for XinYue in episode 16 for one moment.....no matter how scheming one is, it must hurt to hear her brother being the one causing the "one more marriage"... I mean she was warned that there would be a lot of women in the harem but still...
The harassment scene in episode 2 is really unconfortable. Sadly many women had already lived this.
That's a very realistically portrayed scene...I don't have any problem. It just prolly I had too high expectations and now feel that it was boring (Prolly cuz of too slow pace. Also why insert the oh-we-were-friends-in-college scenes)
I waited for this drama, had read the book as well...only to see 3 episodes of mediocrity. I know my decision would prolly not be same as you . Also, it just felt for a second Xu kai from BCE just landed in this drama as well. It legit feels like the same character.
I am disappointed cuz I like both the lead actors.
Amazing premise. Morally grey characters. Character Growth........all my fav tropes. Can't wait to see XU YAN come to life. I have faith in ZLS. She knows how to make her characters feel real
