I truly get both's point of you (even tho I am partial towards of A Yue). I like how she is calm but decisive. But I also think her kindness is not for every mortal-only the ones who deserve it. I like how she just asked him to see the other perspective in epi 16 Secondly, that was exactly why they had so much problems when they first came to the mortal world. They were unable to see each other's perspective and ideals. Hence, I find the drama so nice and refreshing. Everything is logical and happened for a reason. Not some stupid jealously plots/ dog blood actions. It's a very unique XianXia (for new viewers reading this comment, I hope you go with an unbiased mind and check it out for yourselves).

so maybe he knows she hates him for a reason but without knowing the reason he also knows that it's not him she is actually targeting. mortal world might be a blindspot. which is why HRY was able to stay undetected and again them being there allows them to plan the coup?
This is why I think she hates him and a few other theories ... Her saving lives from death and basically interfering in mortal's fate leads to heaven's punishment. However BJS goes to basically take the punishment on her behalf and sorta ascends? Meanwhile, she get's pregnant with their child but fate can't let the child live so heaven interferes and she is tortured. child dies. while hoping to get this sorted with BJS, she is wrongly accused of stealing divine artifacts etc....leading her to start a new play. some plot points that needs to be answered: 1) why was she pretending and doing all the play for eg: even when she was with 2FL who knew everything. (cuz there were heavenly people watching her every move?) 2) they both had multiple chances to kill each other. she just keeps saying she wants to kill him too. but they never do it 3) the enemies should be from the four heaven lords we saw in epi 10 who kept pushing BJS to kill HRY. but why do they wanna kill her? yin-yang co-exists together and power will be disrupted. Also BJS's subordinates are also not clean. there is a snake between them

since we all posting theories. here is my fan made one. Lin Qing Yue, Linger, Hong Lady all are scheming together. This would be epic.
Anyways, For some reason most male characters in this drama gives off a "scumbag"/"red flag" feeling. [keyword: most] For eg: How many lives does this ML need to treat the girl nicely? He abuses, gaslights and then gives a candy. Had he treated her properly, why would she run off for revenge.
Also, it's almost feels criminal to see Bai Lu seducing someone and the person being all spoiled princess. Like why does he think himself as is if Helen of Troy (worth fighting over) (this is a joke)
So far so, I still wanna see a cool feud/revenge arc. Hooked for that.
