Wuxia fan here. My first ever Cdrama was "Who rules the world" and still my top favorite one. So I was really excited to watch the Male Lead Yang Yang in another Wuxia and he never disappoints. I hope he does more Wuxia. Can't wait for season 2!

It's an old pattern in Chinese dramas. They always set up romance with the most creepy, selfish and abusive MLs because in the end, He just falls in love with her. It's utter crap.

Fell into the Wuxia trap again. I liked the idea of being stuck in a book and playing with the plot but I'm at Ep 9 and I think I have tolerated the old moody ML treating the FL like shit but still somehow I'm supposed to believe that they will end up falling in love. The entire plot is just FL kissing his ass to make him like her just 1% more. That's it. That's the entire drama. Who cares, Where are the demons? where are other characters? Is there a story here? How does this have 8.5 rating with only 4-5 actors in the whole drama.

1st Episode. Did he really let them kill his kids just to not give them what they wanted? If so, This is beyond absurd and I wouldn't be interested in revenge when he could've saved them in the 1st episode.
