How does it scream low budget? Genuinely wondering as I cannot see it.
If you compare this to other drama that depicts "high ranking officials" or just generally rich people, this doesn't scream rich. True that there are many high brands used but the set itself (e.g. the hospital) just doesn't feel like it, that's why I assumed they must have limited budget on set :)
The production screams low budget, and there's so many issues like lack of screen-continuity, missed details, and plots that just don't make sense.. BUT WHY AM I SO OBSESSED???! I keep waiting Friday to come faster! If not for the amazing chemistry between the leads I would have dropped this long ago. So happy that this show is very popular despite the lack of promotion.
Just started this drama today (but I'm up to speed) and I have exactly the same feeling like you. First leads…
Glad to hear I'm not the only one! The leads are doing good in their other drama I think, maybe it's just the plot or they just don't fit in a romcom :( The 2nd couple has great chemistry and more interesting plot I wish we could see more of them TT_____TT
Sadly the main leads' scenes are so boring TT_______TT I keep skipping their scenes only to watch the brother and his wife - wish they had more screentime
Really love it when they make the actors looked straight at the camera on important scenes!!! Good cast, good acting, good plot, good direction, best one so far this year for me!
It's bittersweet watching this because I didn't have such fun during high school and college, all I did was study TT_______TT I usually don't like childish-style FL in dramas, but this time I can't help but adore ZaiZai. Even though there's some cringey parts (that you can just skip) and it's a bit slow at first this is a very good drama :)
The guest actress Zheng He Hui Zi is actually quite good! I think she can get big if she keeps improving, but she looks too similiar to Yang Zi on certain angle.
Caesar Wu looks really good here! The costume make him looks so charming, I think this is his best-looking character so far. Tang Min is actually also good, it's just too bad the characters and story is written rather poorly. But overall it's just an easy drama, good to watch if you want something light :)
This is supposed to be a consolation for our heartbreaks but I still can't move on from One and Only :''')
*also, I can't believe I never took a look at Ren Jia Lun's projects before, he's really good?!! Zhou Shen Cheng in OAO was a charming leader guy while in FAE he is more like the kind introverted guy - and he delivered both personality incredibly, I'm amazed!
Claudia Kim (Lady Maeda) stole the spotlight for me, she's so classy! As much as I hate her character (which proves her incredible acting) I really love her scenes with PSJ, especially the one in front of the pawn shop
I keep skipping their scenes only to watch the brother and his wife - wish they had more screentime
