I think Huan was the best character in this drama. Well structured, amazing performed by Yang Zi and her cute face, full of emotions. Already positive and well behaved. Also we watch her become vulnerable.
Xu Kai was ok. I think he was much better on "Falling for your smile" althou i didn't like Cheng Xiao and her emotionless face.
For a start: Grandma saves Huan's life when she was young. No other relations. But Mao family appreciated her gesture so out of respect they she (grandma) her as part of their family.
Yao on the other hand is true grandson.
Most annoying person in the series is Huan's mother. I really really want to smack her face.
Also after the episode 9 the series is getting better. Before that just skip whenever Huan's mother talks.
I have seen dozens of movies/series (j,k,c) but their acting and chemistry definitely overshadows the rest couples. Their acting even for their age is mature, with amazing eye contact (asian dramas favor eye contact, western dramas favor sex scenes), funny and also full of emotions. U can clearly understand their feelings on every moment of the drama.
Netflix hit the jackpot with this drama but also makes it's work harder for the future.
