"Might be better on a second watch?"

I love how the movie feels light and easy to watch, but for me… it just kind of exists. If you're a fan of both leads, you'll definitely feel giddy and thrilled watching them together—but if you're looking for emotional depth or layered storytelling, this might not hit the mark.

Personally, I expected more—especially from the title. The plot had great potential, but I was really hoping they’d dive deeper into Jolo and Sari’s individual stories. It felt a bit rushed, like there was more to tell but not enough time to tell it.

I guess part of my disappointment comes from the fact that both of these amazing actors have delivered incredible performances before—like in Linlang and What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim. So my expectations were kind of high. Maybe it’s also because it’s a movie, and there's only so much they can fit in without dragging the story.

Still, I really hope they work together again in the future—but next time, in something more meaningful and emotionally rich. Something like Paulo Avelino’s I’m Drunk, I Love You—now that’s my kind of film.

'"LOST PUPPY ML WHO GOOD AT CRYING"

I stumbled upon this drama through random clips on TikTok, and what immediately pulled me in was that heartbreaking scene of the ML afraid to fall asleep—scared he might lose the FL while he's unconscious. That moment hit me hard and instantly reminded me of the final episode of Should We Kiss First, which, funnily enough, was another drama I had zero expectations for but ended up loving deeply.

With this drama, I had read a few reviews saying it has a great plot but sloppy writing. At first, after watching episodes 1 to 6, I couldn’t quite see what they meant—but then it slowly started to make sense. Still, I really appreciate how they try to sprinkle in some light, quirky humor amidst all the heavy melodrama. Sure, sometimes the comedy feels a bit random, but honestly, after a good ugly cry, I welcome the chaos. 😂

By the time I hit episode 6, I was genuinely confused—the pacing suddenly sped up like crazy, and I was like, “Wait, we’re only halfway through??” But at the same time, I was lowkey thrilled because it meant I’d get to spend more time with Woo Cheon and In Sook. As for the crime aspect… yeah, it felt a little silly. Like, girl, if the mom had just confessed earlier, half of this wouldn’t have happened. But hey, I get it—drama’s gotta drama. 😅

I adore both the ML and FL. For the ML, it made me so happy to see him finally take on a lead role. I’ve known him as a supporting actor for a while now, and to watch him absolutely shine here? So heartwarming. He’s such a good crier too—he yearns so deeply, and sometimes he just looks like this lost puppy that you want to hug forever. The way he instantly knew he loved the FL, never once doubting it? That kind of pure, innocent, slightly obsessive love? A little unhinged? I eat that up. It’s rare in K-dramas, and I’m living for it.

As for the FL—I love her just as much. She could’ve easily come off as annoying, but she doesn’t. She holds her own. I especially love how sure she is about her feelings for the ML. She’s not wishy-washy. And her relationships with the people around her—her grandmother, her father, the hospice patients—they all felt real and layered. She delivers it all beautifully.
