A huge disappointment for me...
I was really looking forward to this one — the cast is full of actors I love, and a fantasy storyline (which is rare and one of my favorite genres) had so much potential. But honestly, it ended up being a big miss for me. The plot just kept going in circles, only to focus on a romance I didn’t care about at all. Even the acting wasn’t that great most of the time. Overall, super disappointing — whether it was the story, the acting, or just the vibe. Maybe it’s just me, but yeah... big disappointment. The enemies-to-lovers was done really badly, like it already felt off from the start, and the main character didn’t work for me at all. I was looking forward the return of the real Yoon Gap and it was badly done for me so...Was this review helpful to you?

A huge disappointment after a really good start.
It’s very rare — maybe even the first time — that I’ve had this kind of problem, but Yoo Yeon-seok’s character and the entire writing around him completely ruined the drama for me, even though it had started off so well. At first, I was expecting to be totally charmed by the show — it made me laugh while also being genuinely interesting in the way the relationships between the characters were developing. And then suddenly, we get three whole episodes of clumsy, boring writing, with the team no longer together. Honestly, I’m really disappointed. Was this review helpful to you?

Classical Netflix...
The perfect example of Netflix making more seasons just because of the buzz. I was waiting for this third season to finally get some closure — but damn, I was surprisingly… not surprised by how bad it was. The plot is empty; it’s basically a remake of season 1 with slightly different characters and dynamics. And even that isn’t much of a change. So many things are either illogical or pointless. I just couldn’t get into it at all — and I actually love the concept, so it’s hard for me not to like it at least a little. Was this review helpful to you?

Bae Doo Na nailed this role and give us another good drama
A very dark drama while being very light and funny. The rhythm is very well found between intrigue, suspense, action scene and evolution between the characters on an emotional level. Bae Doo Na plays this character very well, both cold and warm in her own way.The plot is interesting with a little disappointment at the end. The big vilain is not as credible as one would expect, especially with this lack of decisive movement at the end. But the frame at the end where all our dear family is together with all different holes in them is the definition of this drama. This drama should have been longer to be more delightful.
Looking forward to a season 2 which could have an even better plot.

A story in 2 part that just delivers until the end .
The first 4 episodes almost made me believe that it wasn't a gem.... During those, we don't understand much and we are in a strange atmosphere which keeps us within it without convincing us either . The breaking point is the end of episode 4 where we are shown the different characters in the hospital. The following 4 episodes are just magnificent, showing us all types of relationships and developments, each more poignant than the last. Tears come repeatedly throughout this journey on the thin edge between life and death. All the characters have their importance, play their role perfectly and are carried by very good actors. Was this review helpful to you?

A fun watch
I wasn’t expecting anything from this drama, but it pleasantly surprised me by being quite charming! Watching it as it aired was perfect because I knew I had my two silly episodes each week just to switch off and have a laugh. Of course, the drama isn’t exceptional, but it does the job by really focusing on the humor. Was this review helpful to you?

a fight for survival behind closed doors
the very positive aspects of the series are around the evolution between the two main characters between betrayals and alliances, the place where the series unfolds is very claustrophobic and oppressive which puts us well in the atmosphere of a fight for life but the more negative sides are the incomprehension at times (maybe due to the subtitles of the site on which I watched it which were hard to follow at times but I think not) for example if the policeman was really in infiltration or not, the main story which is weird in certain aspects such as the fact that there is a landslide but that the "coup d'état" happens as easily as if nothing had happened and finally the third main character, the son who is there for a kidney for his father didn't really convince me.Was this review helpful to you?

I had high expectations and it wasn't disappointing!!
Honestly, the drama isn’t perfect — some predictable plot twists and a few inconsistencies — but who cares when the rest is so good? This drama was made for me: all the things I love were there — intense action scenes, a strong revenge story, real tension, a well-crafted plot with lots of different stories intertwined, and a love story that was handled really well with great chemistry. I was totally hooked the whole time, binge-watched it in one day, and cried a lot at the end, of course. Definitely one of my favorite dramas. Was this review helpful to you?

It was lacking a lot of things...
I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I didn’t really get into this drama. There were definitely some strong points and interesting angles, like the protagonist’s dark and tormented psychology, but for the rest, it felt like there were too many elements thrown in and none of them were fully explored. On top of that, the fight scenes often didn’t feel logical or believable, with some strange sequences. So yeah, I don’t know — a decent drama, but nothing special for me.Was this review helpful to you?

A slow downgrad spiral
Tbh I wouldn’t even have started this drama if it wasn’t for the cast — they’re some of my faves — and ngl I kinda regret it.The beginning was super fun, really bright and funny, with great vibes, cool interactions, nice OST and cinematography.
But it all started going downhill as soon as they got together.
They were too happy, then out of nowhere he turned hella toxic for the dumbest reasons.
And the way he acted when she went abroad? That was the last straw.
Yeah they end up together in the end, which is cute I guess, but the last 2-3 weeks left a bitter taste fr.

i am so tired after this
This is the first time I've had this feeling of tiredness after watching a series.A feeling of having watched double the number of episodes. But this is positive because this oppressive atmosphere is desired by the series. From the start we dive in and find ourselves trapped during this week of horror in the life of Yim Si Wan (perfect performance).
Between work (brighter atmosphere) and the guesthouse (dark atmosphere), we find ourselves preferring neither situation because we are under constant pressure. Yim Si Wan's repeated breakdowns just make us doubt when the breakdowns will actually happen.
The only downside that we can find in the series is that the protagonist could and should have left this boarding house after realizing the situation.
The end of the series is the last nail in our hard journey in this oppressive series with a plot twist that leaves us perplexed in front of our screen.

a thriller that meets expectations with extraordinary production
A psychological thriller with breathtaking production and aesthetics. A story that keeps us in suspense until the end with many twists and turns. We can suspect that the girl will not be the real culprit but even if we suspect it to the end, doubt is instilled in us (appropriate title). The father/daughter relationship is quite interesting in its evolution from a childhood trauma to a need for trust. The interactions are slightly redundant but don't spoil the drama either.
On the police station side, I really liked the character of Yoon Gyung Ho who doesn't like our main protagonist, who just tries to do the job as best he can while remaining a human. The two assistant investigators are a little less interesting because each just has their bias and won't budge (both are wrong in their own way).
