Personally i dont mind the cheating, actually if they would have cheated it would make more sense. In my case its he way the writer handled the things with the main couple. They seem to be the less important characters in the whole episode, the way that they portrayed the ML being all sad and pathetic, while she is as fresh as a lettuce, so this kind of disbalance might happen in the real life too, but is annoying to watch, at first everyone blame him for the fight, but to me she is the one who got detached even before the Winders fight, she just does not want to talk to him, as if he doesn't matter anymore. I hope it improves in the next episodes, although i doubt it. only 6 episodes left and i have no idea where this is going. So different from the Webtoon.

I stopped watching two episodes ago, i will wait till the end to watch all in a row, so far i have seen spoilers and apparently the other lady is coming back, and i hope she plays an interesting part, i also hope that Hyunsung takes control of his own life instead of being crying and drinking thinking about her. She already move on without care, he needs to do the same and find a new way into his brand and life.
I would not like it if they go back together, too much time have passed, and he deserves better, she threw him out for a silly confusion, never had the decency to talk to him and make things clear.
Let him move on, no way i want her near him again. That would speaks really bad about him again. He needs to grow and evolve by himself, she can hook up with some other guy.

i agree, he read the script and he was excited to do a new character i suppose, when you are doing you job as an actor you dont know how they are going to edit the chapters, so i really dont know, regarding Korean audience, the drama is being watched on streaming platforms, like TViing, Netflix Korea and so on. The fist 2 episodes were on position 5 for Netflix Korea, i think after chapter 3 it dropped to 13th position last time i saw. So yeah, a lot of people prefer to watch online, besides Channel A is not a big channel and their ratings are usually lower that other channels in Korea.

True, the Director is a female, so i think she was trying to portray how to punish a Men for neglecting his girlfriend, which is insanely non realistic. I guess she was trying to please the female audience, but big mistake. They casted Donghae, and he has a huge female fandom. So if you are going to cast a big audience idol, do not make him a looser, without personality, no pride, and totally lost in love with someone who does not care about him at all. BIG mistake. I come from Donghae fandom and we are not very pleased with the way they are leading his character. He only appears like 5 minutes every chapter to moan and drink, not a very pretty representation. I understand that the Webtoon kind of goes that way, separate ways, but in the original cartoon he did not become a depressed lonely and poor guy, he grows as a person, his business flourishes and he have dates and sex with more women. Lets see how this thing will develop.

true, and that really bothers me, i mean, i get that she wanted to split, she was clearly fed up with him, but why on earth she does not face him and tell him the truth, she has been acting like the victim and playing the i dont care card for too long, we are in the middle of the drama and for me she is the most dislikeable character. Tell him that you want to end things up, let him move on too, and do not act like you haven't been together for 7 years, that is so no realistic, i hate this kind of female characters. I also hate the fact that he is dragging his pride and being all depress and lost everything just for a misunderstanding, not realistic either, even so, i would like him to have a fair ending at least. Far different from the webtoon

true, i mean i understand that they are part of the plot of the webtoon, but lets be honest, we are more interested in the main couple, and they appear only like a few minutes, and the rest of the time is only memories that make the whole thing really depressing, is sad that they are wasting the chemistry of the main couple in such a dull story line. I hope they can improve the slow pace and make at least a decent ending.

We are in the middle of the drama, and no interesting thing have happened so far. The main couple is being used a a bait to push the rest of the no interesting couples, no screen time for the main couple either, ratings and reviews are really bad, i think is not even the actors fault, the writing is so bad, only the first two episodes were kind of good. i think i will wait till the end to watch the remaining episodes. They need closure, but this one sided thing is getting annoying. Both need to move on, instead of making the ML moan and suffer alone, being a looser, While she is being rewarded by new love interests and career opportunities.

I read that the writers changed the original plot since the beginning, and that upset the webtoon fans. Also i agree that the actress is not conventionally pretty, Donghae is way more attractive than her, and now she is the one getting a lot of new potential boyfriends and he end up being a looser and alone, it makes no sense. Do you live in Korea? Can you tell us more about the general reaction?

To me she is the cheater and she was already out of love even before the Winders discussion. She knew she was also in the wrong and play de offended card to star seeing other men. I still have to watch the 4th episode, but its getting harder and harder to watch, i want to like the plot too, but the one week episode is also hard to endure. I had big expectations here, but now is a total mess of unfairness and boring side characters. I really hope that the ML gets a good ending, because everybody is blaming him, and i think she is the evil one here. Very obvious to me that she was already out of love even before the Winders discussion. She was sober, and went on a date with another guy, she took off her ring with her intact conscious mind and she is very pleased to receive new male attention, whereas him is suffering, being a looser now and without his personal pride. He deserves better, and i am a woman.
