if that is the case then so am I. I dropped Brocade at like 22 episodes, I just couldn’t take it anymore.
I'm laughing while reading the script right now, it's worse than I could have imagined.

The scriptwriter is the same one with Brocade Odyssey. I'm kinda worried.
It seems like Ding has never had luck with screenwriters.

I haven’t read the script, but I think it will change significantly and won’t be comparable to the original. The FL’s age must have been changed since there will be no rebirth storyline. Please keep in mind that, although the FL in the original is only 15 years old physically, her soul is that of a 30-year-old woman who has lived through two lifetimes.

The original focuses heavily on the uncle–sister-in-law relationship, which will certainly be altered or at least less emphasized in the drama version. Without this relationship dynamic, they might shift the focus to their age gap instead. In the original, the FL even felt guilty for developing feelings for someone much younger than her.

Choosing a younger actress might create a better CP feeling, but then what would make this different from other idol dramas with a similar theme? In the end, it’s not the FL’s or ML’s age that will determine the drama’s success, but the quality of the script and the acting that will decide the outcome.

Although I like Ryan Ding's acting, but his character here is the 2nd lead, Steven Zhang is playing the lead role.
They are double male leads.

There is no need to judge a drama that hasn't even premiered. Seems strange to dislike a drama even before the…
Same here, I initially thought they mis-cast both until I saw the leaked scenes. A well adapted script is the most important for this drama, followed by the acting.

Anyway, DYX is an actor, not an idol. He relies on his acting skills, not just his looks. What’s the point of being handsome if you don’t know how to act?

not good
Because there are major shows with the same theme airing right now, the storyline cannot compare to the other two. At least no one is mocking his acting skills. He already got the biggest reward from this show, that is the chance to act outside his comfort zone and learn from experienced, talented actors, helping him break through his bottleneck period. You can see that his acting has truly improved after this.

Why people hating on Victoria isn't dingyuxi got this role due to his company he isn't even good looking enough…
Don’t hate Ding so much. People said the same thing when he took on the role of Zi Qi, and what was the final result? Actors rely on their acting skills—good or bad, just wait and see the play later. You cannot solely blame Ding if someone speaks poorly about Vic.
I also find it amusing when people claim his company and agent are good. They only care about money and will minimize the marketing as much as possible. Didn’t you notice why this play has so many leaked scenes? Didn’t you see how poorly the poster was made?
For the movie Ten Years of Loving You, they prioritized profit and let the actors take all the blame for the poor filming. For The White Cat Legend, there was almost no marketing during the broadcast period, and they let the actors promote the play using their own money. Meanwhile, the boss went on vacation before the play ended, knowing it had already made a profit. So, let’s hope the 'good' company does a proper job this time; otherwise, it will once again rely solely on the actors to promote, and if the fans start quarreling with each other, it will end badly.

what do you expect from WYX? Should feel appreciative that they gave you a voice that matches DYX by 80% :))

Understandable but whether DingYuxi dubbed or not,his acting is superior and it's not like the dubbing is bad…
Good or bad we will judge during the broadcast. No matter how good the dubbing is, only the actor himself understands his role best.

Did you know that Esther Yu and Xu Kai worked also together in the fantasy romance costume adventure series called…
Many people have become fans of DYX just because his original voice. Also, Chinese actors are always encouraged to use their original voices. I don't want him to be criticized later for using dubbing. Another reason is couple fans from Moonlight like to connect the two dramas as if it is past-present life, using voice actor for Mu Sheng could disrupt this connection.
Esther's fans appreciate her and want to see how talented she is, likewise we DYX's fans feel the same.

They were the best bros in Moonlight! I’m excited.
I will patiently wait for the drama, no matter how bad it is, I will watch it, mainly to support the actors, but for WYX, really don't want to support him, he has left me with trauma since LYST.

His voice is so good that many people thought it was dubbed by a voice actor. There’s also a viral clip from LYST where someone maliciously commented that the performance must have relied heavily on a voice actor, but it turned out to be his original voice
