Idk if this would be an unpopular opinion but I think that the casting director did a good job of choosing the actresses. Regardless of the majority saying they look too old to play high schoolers, I don’t think it’s particularly valid. These characters call for a level of mental maturity and experience that I do not think an actual teenage actress or actor could present.
The characters match the actresses beautifully and are faithful to the webtoon presentation.

It seems like this is going to be explored more. At the same time, the parents could have just given up(?) the dad was in the hospital and the mom or the new wife seems to be mentally depleted and tired as hell. The entire thing is scary but it could also mean the police just didn’t try hard enough, shit like this is surprisingly common unfortunately.

Dahyun could pass for one with the right styling and minimal makeup but im not sure about jinyoung. He is a muscular guy and those muscles are defintely from time and hard work so I am not sure if he can pass as a high schooler like you said.!

No Jae Yi is a girl the manhwa implies it that the female characters are feeling certain ways about each other. But they'll prolly turn down the homosexual vibes a bit more due to the actresses.
