amazing plot and execution, went a little offside at the end
i am not a qualified person to write honestly and objectively about anything, these are just things i felt from my experience. it was a very good show that kept me interested until the end, i binged all episodes. one thing i wil l say is it definitely started losing its effect at the end. i was very impressed and engaged the first half of it, but by the time the teams were formed and the “evil” characters took charge it felt a little off to me. i started questioning the validity of character like 4th floor and when are even her motives, since she hated 8th floor at the beginning, and now she’s in the evil squad? some characters choices and action just didnt have an impact on me, like when 5th floor let the evil ones free and the whole “sleep torture” and then how it all ended with such a stupid action that could’ve been done since episode 2. i also hated how character 1 ended up. he was one of the most dynamic characters to me and possibly my favorite, and they had a chance to actually show us how he turns and how his daughter drives him to commit the actions he committed, but they didnt. which made the whole thing meaningless to me, how he just turned and died was not well executed in my opinion. 8th floor is an interesting character that i felt like they could’ve utilized in actually impactful ways. 2nd floor was my favorite . 3rd floor was obviously in love with 7th floor and the bl could’ve been so good if they weren’t cowards. overall i really enjoyed watching this, while it could’ve been better it’s certainly well done and made me feel the emotions (mostly)Was this review helpful to you?

excellent story and characters with flawed execution
i throughly enjoyed this show. the action here is unlike any other kdrama ive watched, its very well done and believable. both the main characters here are so lovable and relatable, and so charismatic as a duo. secondary characters, like Mr.choi are just as precious. In ep 6, i was crying the whole episode because the connection of all these characters to each other was genuine and very human, and it was such a heartbreak for me to witness their downfall and the horrible way they were murdered. These are all the things i loved and enjoyed about this show, but after ep 6 it kinda felt less genuine to me somehow. the connection of our characters to the chaebol, the new girl and Mr. oh, the new “mole” who gets caught in one ep, the old sunabe who they utilize out of nowhere.. i had a hard time feeling bad when Mr.oh was in danger because this is the issue with this team, they never learn from their mistakes or learn how to back up their plans. never once throughout the show , since ep 1 where gun woos mom was in danger, did it ever occur to anybody to initiate any type of contact in case of danger. Mr.oh just lives in the countryside unprotected and the boys just leave him to attack the most capable gang leader they know… and they leave the mom the Mr. choi’s orphanage and then are surprised when they threaten her too? idk all in all it just seems like when they were new and amateurs these stupid mistakes were more acceptable (still stupid and preventable) , but now with their “glow up” it just is stupid and perventable and didnt really move me. the final boss’s death wasn’t all unsatisfying, but it did feel less impactful to me. i do understand that they needed this whole journey to strip him of his assets and resources, and it does make sense so maybe i was just that i was over it by the point he died. great show overall, i would watch season 2 when it comes outWas this review helpful to you?
