Happy Birthday Jingyi 🥰 I absolutely adore her and love all of her dramas. The promotional event yesterday was so sweet. Sizzling chemistry & cute interactions of them both. I am just sooo happy to see the rating jumping from 8.2 to 8.4! So happy!
Anyhow yay back to the present. Bit of a fast time jump but I guess they want to save it for later. I love the present Miao Jing. Love it. The drama version keeps MJ very close to the novel. And MJ is sooo pretty 💓😭 I remember reading some comments that CY is the one who sacrifices it all whilst MJ doesn't. Well the time has come. MJ is coming back to provide for CY 🔥😭 She'll drag him out of the darkness and they will heal each other again!!!
Awww the kiss is so sweet. I love every bit of it. You can feel the yearning, lil bit of clumsiness, the nervousness of the first kiss. My heart was beating soooo fast watching the kiss haha 🙈 The after-kiss with them blushing and cooling down with the ice-cream was cuteee.
I can't remember the last drama I've waited every day for new episode to come out like this. And rewatching whilst counting down hours for the next episode. The struggle is real 😭😭

Oh course! I still can't get over how his Dad tied him up and blocked him from participating in the exam. I was mad and flustered =(. I agree with you when time is missed. Chen Yi could have done it again and become a policeman. But he chooses a different path for various reasons. Oh god I think the novel/drama is a beauty 💓
Miao Jing leaves for uni and Chen Yi cut contact with her. He says to her he has a girlfriend, he's very busy and he has no time to chit chat with her; then he changes his mobile number. Chen Yi thinks Miao Jing deserves better and she shouldn't be stuck here. He loves her but he says and does things to push her away on purpose. He's worried that if he shows affection she'll be in danger (cos he's doing dodgy jobs..). Miao Jing thinks she's a burden to him. Silly arguments and misunderstandings. He actively wants her to just leave.
It's sooo good. I love it. Their chemistry is so good. Acting is great. I have to admit I didn't expect to tear up in a modern romance first few eps in. :((
Where is the tension, where is the chenistry between the actors? Minato's actor acts like a robot.
There isn't going to be any intense tension I dun think. Minato is close to a robot, he has always had trouble expressing his feelings. It's how he is portrayed in the manga. In fact, Kaname has put a lot of 'soul' into his character.
helloo, no it doesn't.! but it's one of those series that actually can proceed with a season 2 (cos it's really good and still has other things to touch on). pls watch!
How come I only watch this 2 years later? I have come across the poster a million times. And how is this 7.8? It is jus so good, so sooo good compared to all other JBLs that I've watched. Gutted there isn't a second season 😭 Their acting is jus perfect, the storyline, sound effects, the cactus..
