What a ride. My heart aches, but it’s finally at peace. I’m so grateful to have followed ShengYu’s journey of growth. Personally, I actually prefer the adaptation’s ending over the novel, it feels a little more complete. And ShengYu is just the sweetest cutie pie by the end. 🥺

I think it’s a great drama. Everything worked- the acting, the chemistry, the storyline, the OST. I despised the family, I disliked Jinrui, I hate dthat thug. I cried for Beiyu, I felt deeply for ShengYu, and I giggled at all their adorable moments. I experienced the full emotional rollercoaster, and this isn’t even my usual go-to genre.

If you’re looking for a light youth romance, this might not be it. It’s more of a story about family and growing up, but it’s worth watching.🥺🥹

I can’t believe it’s already over. Hasn’t it been two years? I’ve been waiting since the day ZJY was chosen as the FL and for it to finally air. I haven’t had enough of them yet 😭😭, I hope they co-star in another drama again!

Just finished ep 19. Damn. I thought I wasn't going to cry but here I am 😭😭😭 Beiyu you had it so so so tough. What did she do so wrong? She was only 6yo at the time. It's so unfair. The grandparents are horrible. Jinrui is horrible. To think that she felt that being ill isn't too bad, it would let her have her parents' attention for a bit, is just painful. I feel so sorry for Beiyu. 😭😭😭

There won't be much development scenes between the leads I dun think - not the kind of development that we see in a typical youth romance or romance drama. As of now Ming Sheng will always be there to protect Qingyu, whilst Qingyu still feels like she's holding him back. But I'd like to think there is development within themselves, which prepare for their (love) story later on.

Just finished ep 16 & 17. Somehow it soothes my heart. Can't help tearing up a lil bit when seeing Qingyu dance - I dunno why. Alongside Ming Sheng, I feel like they have both started moving forward. I'm sure it won't be long till my OTP reunites 🥺🥺

And my girl Zhang Jing Yi is amazing. I'm impressed with her role here (as always). Very proud.

OMG did you? Well done! I binged the first 6 eps then I tried to leave 1-2 eps so I don't run out of eps to watch (I dun like binging all at the end but dun like waiting for new eps either - but I failed cos now I'm all up to date 🤣). I think it's heavy for me cos it's frustrating and exhausting - I hate it when parents and families are unreasonable and horrible to their own kids.!!!!

Just finished the ep. Wow. Her family is absolutely disgusting. Horrible. I am fuming. I really have no words. It's your daughter, your granddaughter, your blood. You already lost one, and here you are tormenting the other. I wish I could hug Qing Yu. And Ming Sheng.

And no Mu Mu. That is not a friend. That's not what a friend would say. That is jealousy. That is being selfish.

I remember someone asking yesterday if you should binge or watch it now. I think you should start now. It's too heavy to binge all in once. Honest.

They will. But at the very very very end. At least it's not SE I told myself that 😭

I'm disappointed in Mumu that I had to go find the novel to read it (to confirm whether or not the drama makes her evil!). I have to remind myself that this is a youth drama, that Mumu is still in high school and that it is understandable to feel jealous. I hope she grows out of it. Still I was hoping MuMu would remain neutral as 'a friend' and she didn't try to influence Qingyu's decision. Whatever my girl QY is a strong girl ㅠㅠ
