actually he died before the first episode. what we saw in ep8 is a flashback of why/how he died. but in his last breath, he regrets doing it. Then this mystical bean (who takes the appearance of myungha Sunbae) gives him a second chance in this new reality (the "game" one, the reality where yeowoon exists) myungha finally learns his lesson of how he has to love himself first and see his own qualities and he gets his second chance, living a new life with yeowoon
Every Saturday I watch this. I'm a bit younger than myungha was when he killed himself (I'm 25) but I feel as lost as he felt. it's like you have no place in the world. as you are a mistake, an error who needs to be solved. sometimes I really think I should give up. but Then I remember about this series. I remember how myungha regretted it. and how his life changed when he decided to look to himself with more gentle eyes. I'll always be grateful for love for love's sake for giving me strength in such hard times. "happiness must be hidden in each of our days" and that's the goal

oh I cried reading your comment. I'm so sad so many people miss the main premise of love for love's sake: Every…
Hahah yeah, that's why I replied to you. the message is so beautiful. it warms my heart everytime I think about it
we don't really know who the author is. some people see him as God or even Faith himself. but, in my perception, "the game" is a new chance given him by this mystical being in another reality. And the bar scene was in a "limbo", not belonging to any reality since myungha was already dead on his previous life and wasn't reborn yet
