Nooo. the other reality is real. The whole "game" experience is another chance given to him by god. He's just in another timeline/universe than the original one which he killed himself.

Hey! Just to clarify a few things, myung ha didn't drow himself AFTER breaking up with Yeo woon. The whole 8th episode part where it happens is a big flashback. The grandmother dies, his girlfriend breaks up with him and he tries to contact with his mother who rejects him. This lead Myung ha to kill himself. But, since he regretted it on his last breath, his was given a chance in this another universe.

5- (My view on it) Even though his main quest on this world was to make Yeo Woon happy, the senior brought him to the game to Myung Ha learn to love himself. I guess since he had such a long time to complete his task, he was focusing too much on Yeo Woon and forgetting about himself. I see the glitches and the choice episode as a few tricks the Senior created to shake things up and make Myung Ha learn his lesson faster
6- The only two persons who have memorys of Myung Ha after he is deleted from the game were his grandmother and Yeo Woon agent. If you watch it again you'll notice the actress who plays Yeo Woon agent is the same actress who plays Myung Ha girlfriend on his past live. She remembers him because she was the only one who knew Myung Ha before he enters the game. The grandma also remembers him, but when Yeo Woon asks her about Myung Ha, she seems really confused. That's because she died on the "original universe" and her memorys about what happened there are messy
7- Both of them are not related to the pen. Myung ha is an "error" in this world, since he was brought to it. When he was deleted from the game, everyone lost the memory of him because his existence was erased from this world (that's why the grandmother and his ex-girlfriend remembers him. 10- I think the final notification is just a metalanguage to communicate with us, viewers of the show hahaha. After using the pen and reading the notebook, Yeowoon understands Myung Ha was brought to this world by a mystical force. But I dont think he sees the reality they are as a game or something like that. He just uses this "Magic Item"
I never read the manga and this are my point of view by just watching the drama. They are not a indisputable truth about the show, but how I understood it all. Don't worry, most of the people who gave a bad review simply didn't get the plot. To be honest I REALLY can't understand why people got so lost, but I swear if you give it a try (And have a functional brain lmao) you'll understand why this have such a high rate. The last episode is life-changing
I'll clarify a few points for you, maybe you can have a new vision of it once you read it. The sequence we saw of Myung Ha loosing his grandmother, the girlfriend breaking up with her, he being rejected by his mother and then killing himself was a flashback. It all happened before the very first scene of the show(you can see it doesn't happens in the same universe the whole rest of the show happens because the filter they use and the proportion of the screen is very different). He drowns but, at his very last breath, he regrets doing it and regrets the life he had. The novelist friend wasn't a real human. He was like a reaper angel or even a God. He saw how MyungHa wanted a second chance to live a happy life and he gives it to him. The whole bar scene is the Angel telling Myung Ha about this second chance he is about to receive. In this new life, we have Yeowoon, a person as sad and lonely as Myungha was in his original life. The "angel's" plan was making Myungha love himself by loving someone simillar to him, thats why he have the quest of making yeowoon happy. The game isn't an "afterlife", its a new world, a new dimension where this characters exists plenty.
About the few characters that remember Myung Ha after he is deleted from this reality: The only persons who seems to remember him were his grandmother and Yeoowon agent. The reason of it its because they are the only persons who knew MyungHa in his previous life (the one he killed himself). Yeowoon agent was Myungha girlfriend (the one who breaks up with him) in the other reality and the grandmother doesn't remember him completely because she died on the other reality. When the agent ask yeowoon about Myungha, it triggers all his memorys because they are linked in a special way, since he's the main reason Myungha was brought to this world in first place
