Totally understand your frustration—it's a real issue in the industry. That said, Doctor Prisoner isn’t really a romance-driven drama. The focus is more on revenge, power struggles, and psychological mind games than on building a romantic relationship between the leads. So while the age gap between the actors might feel off, the show doesn't try to develop a romantic storyline between them anyway. It’s more of a thriller than a traditional K-drama with romantic tropes.
