You do know the script writers are the ones that write the characters! She is is doing a damn good job portraying the character of a trouble maker etc to make you and others not like her. Cry me a river. Lol😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

The romance was never needed. However, I’ve paused it.

I hope she got a case. And to be honest I stop watching yesterday when I realized hat she followed them into the desert. If I have to be skipping ever time then it makes no sense I continue. Lol 😂 I may drop it 🥴🥴👀

Y’all complain about nepotism. But if y’all were in these people places I’m sure y’all would not be upset or care at all. I don’t see the problem here. If her family can help her get to places then why not? What’s the difference in getting a recommendation letter from a professor to go to another university of caliber? Do you even know the original Ma Joong character? His character is supposed to be troublesome. He was a highwayman. Highwayman are known robbers etc. They changed the original character from a man to a woman. However, the character traits are the same.
Synopsis: Ma Joong — A former highwayman turned investigator. The uneducated son of a poor fisherman, in addition to his great size and strength he is a master martial artist, holding the "highest rank in boxing" (kung-fu, in modern terms). Admires strong-minded young women of common rank. Chiao Tai — Ma Joong's best friend. You will complain no matter what just because you never liked her. “Your comment not mine.” 🙄

I enjoyed Mysterious Lotus Casebook that is why I was excited for this. Mind you I skipped all the romance scenes and I did the same in Judge Dee. Give me cases and fights. I love Ma Rong character she can fight and represents a “brawler” or gangster that’s on the line of don’t break the law too much. And she helped to solve cases she provided the 3 dices needed. I see the people that love romances scenes have an issue with the character 🙄. Give me strong women that don’t need to depend on the ML for everything. Even the Empress is giving boss energy. Love to see it. However, a romance is not needed by Ma Rong or Cao. What’s Cao purpose in following them? Is she just a love interest/ eye candy? It’s annoying! I’m watching because 2 years ago I watched the ML in “The Rebel Princess” and he was amazing!! His Character did what needed to be done.

Exactly!!! That’s what Ma Rong’s character is about. I don’t see the hate. They just want to see a romance between Cao and ML. I don’t want to see it and it’s not needed. I skip all the romance scenes. I’m a thriller/detective drama fan not here for the lovey dovey lol😂😂😭😭

I agree. Her character is my favorite, I don’t she why so many people hate the character. Plus she earned her stripes with the 3 dices to help ML. And I don’t need a romance form neither Cao or Ma Rong.

People are very mean and nasty. How do they even come up with that to say her character was bought? It must be envy. Her character is entertaining. The writer is to be blamed to make her character stereotype with the one sided love.

She makes it funny to me. Her character was very handy with the 3 dices she earned to help ML.

She is my favorite character. I hate how she was written to be a stereotype (jealous) character. Plus a romance is not needed, the show can stand alone.

I too am not a fan of romance in my detective drama lol. And I don’t see why a romance is needed in this. I skip it when I see Cao and ML together and the flashbacks on screen😭. MR needed a more action, I love strong Women whether side characters.
