Despite the largely negative feedback surrounding the series, I decided to watch it and form my own opinion. While it has some strengths, I have to agree that it falls short of being one of the better GL series.
The main issue lies in the pacing and storytelling, particularly in the final episodes. The ending feels rushed and lacks proper resolution. A clear example is the strained mother-daughter relationship, which is built up throughout the series with constant tension, sharp exchanges, and even direct opposition to Bo. Yet, by the end, this conflict is resolved almost instantly, without any meaningful development or explanation, making the resolution feel unrealistic.
Similarly, the “villain” arc is underdeveloped. Kongtup takes significant risks to stop Queen, but the series fails to fully explore the depth of his motivations. His intense hatred is only briefly addressed through flashbacks, which do not provide enough context or emotional weight to make his actions fully compelling.
That said, the series does have its strengths. Supporting characters such as Mint (Bo’s friend), Queen’s brother, and Samn stand out and bring depth and charm to the story. Unfortunately, even these characters suffer from a lack of development, which limits their overall impact.
In conclusion, while the series has potential and a few engaging elements, its rushed ending and underdeveloped character arcs prevent it from reaching the level it could have achieved. Waste of potentiel I guess. I will add, Aas for the actresses, much like LingOrm, they seem to face the same issue—their potential is not fully explored. It’s a shame, because from my perspective, their chemistry actually feels stronger off-screen than it does on-screen. While there are still some convincing moments, it often seems that the script and production choices didn’t allow them to truly shine. In both cases, stronger writing and direction could have brought out much more depth and authenticity in their performances. That said, the series was still watchable. However, unlike other series, it’s definitely not one I would enjoy revisiting or rewatching from time to time.
I really liked it. The chemistry between the couple is amazing, and I loved how both of them are surrounded by loyal, supportive friends. I was happy to see karma finally catch up with the villains, although I wish we had gotten a bit more about the truth being revealed to clear Than’s father’s name—that it was murder, not suicide. A press conference or scenes showing them being arrested or in jail would have made it even more satisfying. I also think it would have been interesting to explore this further, especially by developing Vicky’s dad’s dilemma. What he did was wrong, but it felt like he was acting out of fear and trying to protect his family, which would have added more depth to his character.
What I especially liked, similar to the series *Us*, is that despite everything that happened and all the truths that came out, their feelings remained strong. In the end, she chose not to go through with her revenge, holding back because of more “adult” considerations, especially since the ones who would have been affected were innocent.
The whole "evil character who immediately gets forgiven" is the most annoying trope in these GL dramas,…
I agree with you, what make more angry it's like you said HOW she was at their wedding like nothing happened LIKE WTF . Like she helps and got nothing !!! I wish she end up in jail and of the story. HOW can you forget someone just because they are " family "
Rak & Pam love each other truly despite both knowing the backstory, Rak father being responsable for Pam's parents death.
It felt, like they're like us the viewer they know the real responsable of ALL their pain. they didn't blame each other.
Not the famous episode with the unnecessary break-up. The famous we can't be together, when they discover that one of the protagonists is responsible for the misfortune of his boyfriend or her girlfriend's family. And that the other necessarily knew too but didn't say anything.
Here, at least, they talk about it and their love is VERY strong to get throught this , they trust each other, they are intelligent enough to understand that the real culprit is the father, so no need to suffer for something they're not responsible for.
Applause for Kawi, Rak brother, too always be in his sister side a REALLY GOOD brother, he's HUGE green flag Despite his situation, they have a real strong sibling bond.
He always cared for his little sister, even if he was " home " with his ass**** father. and wasn't able to stand up at the begining. Even when he learned Pam love his sister, he let it go, even ask her to take care of her sister if someting happened.
I was soo glad brother and mother finally stand up.
Even Nene, I understand why she was angry and wanting revenge. Nene lost her parents because of him, but didn't affect Khemn AT ALL. Even about mistress, he was like I give them money. The fact he didn't even see what a jerk he is and all wrong doing and pain he has done, even in front of his son he felt NO SHAME.
Imagine hire people to beat Nene, because she was right, but he's still thinking he's right.
Love the fact at the end Nene understand, ONLY this ass** " father" was the only responsable for her parents's death and didn't do bad things to Dokrak and her brother. I even feel, in a way at the end it help them healing each other as a real " familly " because in a way they all suffer because of Khem's actions.
Only disappointment , I WISH more episode or last episodes loonger , in order to see MORE Oat & Nene, after all pain the anger, she's finally at peace and find a love interested. Also wish more sibling bond between Kawi Rak and Nene. Also see more HOW bad the karma get Khemn while others find their happiness and can live WITHOUT HIM. And of course seeing proposal and the wedding
underrated GL. love plot twist about Ploy's brother not being vilain but let us think he was. Not a plot twist, because I guess it was expected. Ploy knowing the truth. So at the end "player" as title make totally sense. they both played both getting hurt. But love love won. And love 2nd couple and fact that Pun has a real friends by her side. Glad no cheating was involved on both side. What I disliked it's Ploy mom I know she was hurt after the loss of one of her daughter. But when Ploy get slapped and cried saying her mom won't care if she die, my heart broke for her. So when Ploy actually get shot, she seems to suddenly care, make me little angry, like now you cared, meanwhile flashback show us how her mom treated her. But beside this part happy Ploy Pun and Ploy's brother start from fresh.
I agree with some comments. It was too short and felt somehow rushed, they should have make either longer episode, more episode or avoid adding to much stories. But I still recommended to watched it despite sole flaw I really enjoyed it The Pie story felt uncessary like she try to hurt Jane to be with Alin, but we didn't see her getting her karma. she deserved. They made a over with Only you so why not use it correctly , after all Tawan and her team could have help. Same for Alin's dad, he left them, Alin said to Jane it was for asking money, but then disappered again fast, so why make in come back.

I'm still sad about them remove Gu Yi character. Love her love story. Still don't understand she had amazing chemistry with the actress who played her lover Zhijin so it felt too sudden. I admit last few episodes felt blurry with departure from Gu Yi. ( ep. 14 for me).
It's still ongoing so I will watched until the end. I mean despite being a small company, they managed create a good serie and love casting. We have to keep in mind some of the production team are just students or university students so NO HUGE money like these bigger companies. I guess I will wait patiently and see. Moreover I saw an other potential couple after the end of ep 14. Can't wait to see what will happen to Zhijin will she find another lover or stay alone. will we have some answer about Gu Yi through her sister.

didn't like the change about 1st episode wich change story cdrama / kdrama korean FL witness attempt of murder ML cdrama FL and we learn later 2nd witness wich change dynamic of relationship FL / 2nd FL not the same way.
So because of change it's different korean drama it's because of dad bad action FL / 2nd FL kind of stop hating each other cdrama it's because of what happened in 1st season and the death of FL that they kind stop hating each other.
hostage scene : cdrama both are hostage so it's lack emotion because of that and the fact we don't see how police arrive in time. korean ML is in distress because vilain hold FL hostage without knowing if he killed her or not. Moreover in korean version, it make more sense because, ML alert 2nd ML about it, so when cops arrive it makes sense.
Last point : I prefer korean version all team are more funny cdrama there are more serious in my point of view.
To sump up I love to watched sometimes kdrama but cdrama I won't watched it again.

After GAP, I was like wahou it will be hard to find another story, they but the bar so high, than when I heard about Blank, even before watching it, I liked it just with reading story, trailer and some interview with actress. It didn't disapointed it was an amazing adventure with these two chemistry was insane and all the cast of course like about actress who played Mon and Sam I likes them too. It was strange at first but I love I love them too. Love happy ending and seeing them in future? then with Anueng tell about meeting her future wife sooo beautiful and fell in love 1st sigh. And the proposal was so beautiful
