i'm not lying, it has all the tropes i hate the most: childhood friends, ML who has loved the FL for 20+ years for absolutely no reason, miscommunication for plot sake, dumb characters, whiny scaredy cat FL, 40+ year old man who acts like a teenager with a crush (a.k.a i bully her cuz i like her vibe)

Got into it hoping for a thriller but got a cheesy and cringe soap opera, Hope that made it clear

Yes she can.. considering she likes to tell others how much life experience she has adapting should be a minimum, plus she lives with a young granddaughter so it's not like she has never seen how young people act

I know that maybe this is a cultural difference but most of her comments were rude and unnecessary, hoping for a good character development

the only thing i can't stand about these dramas is the fact that after they transform they keep acting weird around people, like girlie we get it you're a grandma have some sense and adapt why do you keep acting like that around people when you know what you look like 😭😭

i like romance when they actually show us them falling in love not some guy who's been in love for DECADES, it's pathetic and unrealistic, like what makes her so special other than the fact she's the FL in a kdrama? what makes her so perfect that he has been in love with her for 20 years despite not even comunicating? (he doesn't even know sign language) why does he become so soft for her? what did she do that was so important to him? nothing

i totally agree with you, but k-dramas are like this for women to self-insert themselves in the FL and dream about a hansome guy simping for them, there's aboslutely no reason for him to be so in love with her when they haven't even spoken to each other in years other than to feed the viewers fantasies

That's the reason why the romance genre is so popular, maybe i'm werid but i hate seeing guys simping so much it's so pathetic.. finding a good straight romance drama nowadays is hard
