no it's ok, i am a bit "scared" cuz i really want to enjoy a good horror/thriller and there's nothing airing rn that's up my taste, i'm literally only watching BL 😭😭

i was expecting something different, it really didn't seem a matriarchal society to me, men were not treated like women were (in real life) in the past, the ML also basically acted like a typical Chinese ML and didn't seem affected at all by a society that deems him as "less" than women, maybe i was expecting something more serious due to the tags, it seemed like a really cool concept also in the TAGS it says GENDER ROLE REVERSAL so don't blame be for thinking there would be some

altrough the way he found out about her was totally ridicolous to me, i'm liking the ML slightly more now that he knows.. he's a lot less annoying at least lol

Look i love escaping reality most of the dramas i watch have some sort of fantasy in it, MLs who are all sorts of things but i really cannot stand CEOs (crown princes and kings too if we're talking historical), a man who's a rich asshole who wears suits (i hate hate suits) even for sleeping is not a fantasy for me but i guess that's just taste i will never understand 🤣 srry for the vent

this is the first historical drama i've liked in a very long time, i'm sad 😭

I can't say i totally hated this drama but it's way too long for the plot it has; i've got very bored by ep 24 so i dropped it. I'm not giving an excessive low score because it had a great set up and okay characters (well except the sister couldn't stand her for a second). Should've been shorter.
